The "Honda CBR" crowd. They all want the parts, all of them also refuse to trade money for them.

 

The overpopulation of the area where I live. Infrastructure can't handle what's here now, but there's still spots of dirt with blades of grass on it. Since these parcels are too small for subdivisions, we get more apartments, everywhere!

 

Aggressive phishing calls from some yankee telling me I won 900k to be delivered tomorrow. Told him to meet me at the police station for me to claim my prize. he told me to suck his dick...Guess I'm not getting 900k.

 

Maybe you would if you... you know... sucked his dick.

 

Maybe hire it out? I'm in a college town shouldn't be hard to find a volunteer.

We recently had an incident at our site that required me to send out a "global notification email" on it. Someone had a question on the incident so they decided to email some random person about it rather than either me or the person I said to follow up with for any questions (area owner). That question finally made its way through 5 people to someone on my team who sent it to me so I could just respond to the original sender.

 

I was just gunning for a move or a notice to at least participate. Then our local Dinosaur comes stomping though and leaves nothing behind.

I've never heard of this, but I only have a CBR250R with 1,100 miles on it I don't ride much...hence not adding parts much (I think I have an LED headlight...that's it).

 

Emails seem to drain people's IQs. I have replied to emails solely for the purpose of CCing people/departments that were on the original email so many times. It's not a hard thought process. If I send an email and copy my department, use the reply all so everyone stays in the loop. Nope, somebody will reply just to me and it'll be on my day off, but then they get huffy that they didn't get a response for a week. Grinds my gears, for sure.

I'm so used to it man, currently 2 bikes for sale and a parted out clean title 05 CBR and the offers I've received are terrible. I ride a CBR also sooooo I've been apart of that crowd

 

People who post a 12 minute video from youtube on here to illustrate a point or for some little snippet, but the lazy asses don't post it with a timestamp of the relevant info. I'm not filtering through all that extra bullshit to hear a 15 second sound bite that you think makes your argument. If you want to convince somebody of something, you have to do the work, not them.

 

Lately.......UPS, USPS, and FedEx. They all suck!

 

I live 30 minutes away from Hollywood.

I ordered a guitar on Saturday, I learned it is being shipped from Hollywood.

It was supposed to arrive today, but it got delayed until tomorrow.

How does that work?

And yes, if I knew ahead of time it was available in Hollywood I would have drove over to grab it.

 

Yeah, covid has been a convenient excuse for their ineptitude as of late. Thing is, they had these issues before. A few years ago we ordered parts at work and got tracking. The stuff went from California to Denver, but instead of coming from Denver up to Wyoming they shipped the crap out to Kansas where it sat for 2 days. That was FedEx. UPS was usually better, and USPS is as efficient as any gubbermint run service is ever going to be. I avoid USPS for anything that takes more than a stamp at all cost.

 

If it's a 30 minute drive, couldn't you have walked over to get it?

 

I don't recommend anybody to walk in Hollywood these days. It's worse than Venice Beach, after a visit you have to take one of those showers you see on movies where you sit on the floor crying because you'll never feel clean again.

But yeah, if I only knew it was there. I drove right through Hollywood twice on Monday. I would have stopped by to grab it if I knew.

 

Roofnest. They absolutely infuriate me. Sent me a damaged tent, said they'd get me info on repair/replacement parts "in a couple days" and then didn't respond for 2 weeks. Pissed me off enough I decided I wanted a refund. Had to tell them I wanted a refund over and over and had to wait a day for a reply each time. That was on the phone, no less.

Now I have it all wrapped up on a pallet and ready to ship back as of Tuesday and they forward me automated responses that the guy I was emailing is out of the office until today. I responded asking if anyone else could arrange freight.... and I've gotten 2 more forwarded copies of the guys automated out of office message.

I sent another email expressing that this lack of communication and ability to handle things is why I wanted the refund in the first place. If I don't get some kind of reply today that they have freight arranged, I am going to push for a chargeback from my CC company. I am done.

 

Some of the local radio stations adding Ronnie Spector to their playlists just because she died, regardless of whether her music actually fits their format or not.

 

Is that with or without traffic?
