When I am trying to give a company my business and they do not seem to want it.

Tried to get a set of red recovery points from the Iron Man 4X4 Raid bumpers just to see if I could make them work with my setup. When I contacted them I was told they do not sell them separately. So what happens if someone with their bumpers needs another one for whatever reason...?

Okay so moving on, I contacted the Les Shwab tire place closest to me to see if they could install 700lb Eibach springs on my Icons. Their response was that that they would only do it if I had acquired the components through them...WTF?

The entire process of selecting a location is very corrupt and it has been totally politized. I agree, make a permanent home in Athens. I'm sure the people of Greece would love the revenues every 4 years.
Where would winter Olympics be? Chamonix?

I don't think we need a winter Olympics. The Olympics should be held in Athens, every 4 years and consist of the original Olympic sports: Long distance running, sprinting, wrestling, boxing, discus, javelin, long jump , pentathlon and horse racing. They should be a celebration of the birth of sport. All these new add ons to the Olympics have their own world championships or other form of top competition. They add everything and anything now. How long until tiddly winks is an Olympic "sport"?

Bobsled and luge are neat sports. The biathlon was interesting, but they would minimize coverage because GuNs ArE BaD. I don't watch the Olympics at all though beyond the occasional times I'm somewhere like a restaurant that has them playing in the background.

I remember as a kid, sunday afternoon, ABC's Wide World of Sports. They edited down the entire week into a couple of hours as if it was from one event to another. And yes, the winter sports were more fun.

The hockey was the last sport I had any interest in watching. The Stanley Cup play offs are way better hockey than the Olympics. The WHL is way better hockey than the NHL.

I honestly haven't watched a full hockey game in about 10 years. LOL. I switched to football and haven't even watched a game of that in a year or so.

My wife hates football more than she hates hockey, though, and our kid "isn't allowed any screen time". :duh:

The Woman hates hockey and doesn't mind watching the occasional football game. We had a discussion when we found out we have a kid on the way and agreed our kid will never play hockey in a league.

This is something I never understood about society, not specifically dishwashers, but any job considered "low level" or "unskilled". Disrespect towards these positions and people who fill them is totally unwarranted.

I look around the office, and do you know what a filthy shithole this would be without the janitorial crew cleaning up after these entitled nasty-asses? That precious coffee, wouldn't be made without the staff that takes care of the cafeteria/breakrooms, because god forbid one of "the chosen ones" stoops to the level of making a pot of coffee when they get the last cup!

Plumbers, carpenters, HVAC, trash removal, truck drivers and scores of others not mentioned ALL deserve respect. Imagine our lives if the people providing these services didn't exist, or just got pissed at the disrespect and walked out middle fingers in the air.

Want to learn a trick I learned during my long nights as a lineman on call in sketchy neighborhoods? You'll come off as a dick to ppl that aren't going to ask you for money but typically the crowds easy to spot that will ask.
As I would see them walking to our truck I'd get asked 2 things first was always
    "Can I spare some money?"
2nd was "how much I was making and if I can give them a application and be a reference."
Anyways, as they walk up beat them to the punch and ask them for a dollar first....you'll stop being asked by the regulars unless they're vigilant/stupid.

You'd have more fun beating the brakes off it for the night then texting her " that you may have a std in the am, and she should go get tested" If she doesn't have health insurance that's a couple hundo outta pocket....damn my last 2 messages don't show a ton of quality personality traits.

It takes some practice, but turns a worthless situation into a entertaining one for you. Plus you still have your extra dolla Dolla bills for the strip club. Unless, you're married....then you're just helping a nice college girl pay tuition. Lol I love this forum, I need to start posting more.

The park neutral switch and serpentine belt on my 2018 needing to be replaced at 46k miles on my dime w warranty. Pretty anger inducing I'd say. I mean I understand the belt....but damn the sensor isn't covered? Ehhh at least they actually found a issue rather than just taking my $130 for diagnostics and telling me my tires were too big (33's) so $260 in fees so far and the issue isn't even fixed. I miss my 2015 tundy SR5 w 117k on it. Never skipped a beat.
So far I've dealt w the rear end being replaced. Now the spring in the gas door, and the park neutral switch, and the serp belt.

Sensor would be under the bumper to bumper that ends at 36k miles. The remaining warranty is powertrain, and only covers what oil touches, so you're not actually under warranty.

Doesn't make me angry, but it is annoying. My employer doesn't use electronic direct deposit. Instead, their "direct deposit" is mailing the paychecks to my bank. This means that my payday may be on schedule, a few days late, or not until I call to ask where my money is because the check got lost in the mail. Even then, I have to either make the 3 hour round trip to pick up a replacement check or have them mail another one.
In 8 months, I've had 3 times that the checks were on time. Today being "payday" is not one of those times....
