Just drove from Colorado to Reno and back for this!
    All Terrain Camper.
I lovingly call them the generic FourWheel Camper.
Great company to work with and great camper. 1065lbs on the sticker.
I have airbags and good E tires, but it still kinda drove like crap on the way home. Not super bad and I’ll get it dialed in with tire pressure and airbag pressure, but probably going to get new suspension. Not looking for much lift, probably OME heavies all around.
just the two of us so a slide in is perfect for our needs.
Anyone with a slide in have suggestions and/or tips?!?

This may be the best pop up slide in you can buy. Do you have a writeup on the Camp-X. Would love to hear about your thoughts and experience with it.

Always heard they have better customer service than 4wheel campers. Would also love to see a writeup and more pics on your ATC if you ever get the chance.

Its a 30 ft fleetwood mallard. Its such a great lil trailer, Im actually living in it full time with my wife & kids rightnow. I kinda thought wed be too tight and itd be an issue but we are actually getting along better than ever. If any1 has any questions about full time rv life I will just be brutally honest with answers (unlike every full time rv youtube mook)

Upgrade the front and rear sway bars, and yes get some better stiffer, adjustable front struts and new rear shocks. The rear bags will only help to level, but it does help with weight distribution. I do quite well with my '20 Double cab with the camper weighing about 400# more then your set up.

1962 Flying Cloud 22'. First season with it! Was having trailer brake controller issues... turned out there was a T-SB-0036-19 on it for 2018-19 models (in case anyone is experiencing this). Now everything is working just fine! Truck pulls it with zero issue. Trailer is rather light and narrow I can see with the mirrors all the way back. This is my first camper / towing experience. Pretty happy with my rig!

We bought it used (it's a 2020) back in November and only spent one night in it so far at the dealer.

We've got a week in Cape May early June, then another week in Cape Cod later in June, coming up...looking forward to giving it an actual try with the dogs etc.

Up until this we had a Coleman pop-up so should be pretty nice.

Not convinced they are worth the kind of money they sell for but we will see...

Travel trailers don’t work for us. Too big to get far off pavement, require you to stay at campgrounds/RV parks which limit exploration and make road trips with children harder. We went with a 4x4 Sprinter.

We set it up with dual full queen bunk beds, fridge, sink, cooktop, solar, and heater.

It is. Completely and totally modded out everything pretty much. It's been great. Pretty tongue-heavy for it's size my upgraded rear suspension has gone a long way.

We considered that route, but after renting one for a few weeks, found out that it's not so fun to go off road in those things, no matter how you upgrade the suspension... We like to go waaaay out in the sticks, detach, set up camp, and throw the bikes in the back of the Tundra and hit the trail heads, or go get supplies or dinner in nearby towns.

Another showstopper was the height. Need to bring a limber with you for lots of forest service roads.

    BUT, they are more manoeuvrable.

I’ve had 3 four wheel camper grandbys. 2006, 2009, 2017. Overrated for the price. They suck to tote around off road.

Just got an airstream a few weeks ago. 100x nicer and more comfy. I don’t plan take it far off pavement, don’t need to. I can unhook and go about my off road business.

If I am going off roading overnight I take the GX470 and sleep in the back.

Off roading a sprinter van is a hilariously bad joke. Dirt roads and maybe some well tracked logging roads maybe. Any medium obstacle will hang them up quick.
