We have the Imagine 2670MK and it is a fantastic trailer. Pulls great behind the Tundra as long as the WD hitch is dialed in properly.

Added a nice little upgrade to the camper. My boys are getting bigger so now I can toss them upstairs 20210512_161149.jpg 20210512_161222.jpg 20210512_161541.jpg

Where do you ride at? Where do you camp at? I think I am going to take trip up north instead of west in the next year or two.

thats at Shinnecock East on LI. Great campground if you can get a spot. Be flexible and look for cancellations. We took the ferry across from CT to add to the fun.

2013 Rockwood Freedom popup here. Family of 4 plus a dog but we make it work. We've dome some "hacks" to utilize the most space inside.

Here's a pic from this past Sept. Pulled it from VA to CO to hunt elk. Brought the family along since schools were closed.

I live in southwest Michigan but we camp all around, usually we camp near Lake Michigan there are great spots all along the coast.. Warren dunes is a great little spot that has a 30 min hike through the sand right into lake Michigan.. If you haven't ever been to Lake Michigan you are in for a treat, it has sandy white beaches, you would think you were in Cali.

There are plenty of nice trials as well, nothing super Gnarly but the one I enjoy that is super close is Maple Hill about 8 mins from my house. Screenshot_20210512-212813_Gallery.jpg

Small to medium size Travel trailers are the best tool for exploring the United States. I would argue that your setup is better at overlandinding in the USA than most setups that claim to be for that purpose. Over 80% of the roads are paved. You can drop the trailer and take the tundra down the 18% that are not paved.

very true, and we have started doing just that. Took it 4 wheeling on the beach that weekend. Heading up to some class 6 roads in NH next month for some more adventure. It's quite nice to return to our portable home after a day of fun. I just have to remember that I need to keep the truck safe enough to tow us back...

Nice, we just upgraded to the 23MK ourselves. Wife loves it, I am not a fan of the wall separating the front bedroom and the bathroom.

Based on the model, looks like its little over 6300 lbs dry, and almost 33' long.

It’s not a bad camper at all. Just odd that you have to walk through the bathroom to get to the bedroom. I would personally prefer a hallway but it’s a significant improvement over our old weekender model especially when we have guests.

Nice! Where'd you go in CO to hunt? Your pic looks like down South near Alamosa.

Here's our new to us, 2015 Rockwood Freedom. Same story as Finch, family of 4 plus dog. Picture was from last weekend, our first trip with it.

Alright travel trailer folks I got a issue and I can’t figure out what to look at next. Looking to see if anyone had some insight

We put a new converter in our camper and everything worked well. Now all of a sudden the AC breaker trips no matter if the system is on or not. So we can never even get the fan or anything. I have changed the breaker and both capacitors. I guess it’s a short but where should I look next is the question?

We were at Stagecoach State Park just south of Steamboat Springs. We actually just got back from a 2 night turned 5 night trip. The few nights after our initial stay got canceled so we booked them up too.

Have you thought about doing any hacks to your PUP? Shower curtain rod shelving above the sink? Hanging canvas shelf? We've maximized our space to make the most of it.

Looks like a great trip and location right on the lake.

Ours is a Freedom1970. It came with a white cloth box thing that hangs above the sink. My wife calls it the pantry. I'm 3D printing some hooks to loop over the bars the curtains are on and the poles that push out the bedrooms to hang (lighter) stuff from. That's about it so far. This weekend I'm going to weld together a box to mount on the tongue opposite the battery box. I want to store stuff like the leveling blocks, power cables and such in that. We're also going to recaulk the exterior, especially around the fantastic vent where there's some cracking in the old sealant. Otherwise, it's in great shape.

Ordered an Adarac M series for the Tundra so we can bring all our bikes above the tonneau. Next is Ride-rite air bags because even this little camper makes the truck ride pretty bad.

@Torque sounds like you are well on your way. Enjoy! I love our PUP but we'll eventually upgrade when we find a deal.

Also, have you heard of popup gizmos? It's reflective materials that cover both bunk ends to keep out heat.

They work great; the tent ends on a pop up or hybrid can act like a sauna in the sun. These help a lot to reflect the heat and keep the camper a few degrees cooler. We are very intentional about the sites we choose making sure to be in shade whenever possible. We use these in all cases and they have helped keep the temperatures in the caper manageable on the hottest days

Agree. Also, once you install them - they stay on all the time. As soon as I pop up the bunk end, I go underneath and attach both sides of the pop up gizmos with carabiner. It literally adds only a few seconds to the setup.
