In the summer we keep it at 73 at night. We're cheap and use a fan.

66 in the winter. Again, we're cheap and use extra blankets.

I thought I was the only one that had crazy ass dreams if it's too hot when I'm sleeping. Wife thought I was crazy...I feel relieved now, thank you.

Pretty much 72° year round for ac/heat. But all my floors (radiant stone throughout all common areas and bathrooms) are 82° in the winter and 72° in summer. My wife is a reptile and I'm a plutonium core ape, so I suffer but the alternative is much worse... Thank God for dual zone in the truck. I'll have it at 64 with the seat coolers on, she would have it set on Hi, with the seat heaters on. It make NO sense.

Whatever my wife wants. I voted 70 because that's where I try to keep it in the summer, she likes 68 better.

Id be happy at 68 all year but then it makes my days out in the super humidity and 90 plus temps hard to bare. So 70-72 is the norm.

I don’t have AC in my home. I set the heat at 68. There are only a few days a year where AC would be really nice. So not worth having the expense of it for those few days.

Programmable on 73° while home in the summer, whole house 60° winter, but heat one room where the TV is to 68°. TV almost puts out enough heat to maintain that.

We’ve got a fireplace, and in the winter it can heat up the living room/kitchen area pretty damn quick. If the house is set at 60° and the fireplace is on then living room could get to 75° in a hurry.

Before my wife I rarely ever used the heater, if so it was at 68 and just to reach temp. Only when it was really cold in the morning because I sleep with windows open even in winter. In the summer it was 66 for the AC.

Now, I turn the heat on to 74 in the mornings, but only for an hour. In the Summer its 68 or she will say it's cold.

I'm sure things would be different if I lived in CO. Big difference from south central TX. I heat the house, the water, and cook with propane. Have a 1000 gal tank that'll last me almost 3 years between fills. All the interior walls are insulated, so while the house is only at 60°, and I shut off our "retreat" where the TV is, a little space heater (plus heat from TV and A-V amp) keeps that room plenty warm in the winter. Wife complains that she has to put on a jacket to go get a snack, though.
