    Thank you.

My next project is an M1A with an 18" barrel in an ultra light aluminum chassis stock with a folding adjustable butt stock... I am pretty excited about this project.

Haven't had a project Gun in a long time!!
Thats one of the reasons I like the AR,there are endless ways to set one up.
Hell, tinkering with a Gun is half the fun.

Ya need to try the "Thumb through the belt loop trick"!!
When you get it right you can fire an AR so fast it sounds like a full auto.
Had a Game Warden show up at camp asking who was firing the machine gun one weekend.
When we told him what we were doing he didnt believe us and insisted we were shooting full auto.
Had to show him. He was laughing his Ass off and said he couldnt wait to try it himself.
It's a delicate balance between pushing and pulling.

Yeah...it's easy to go through 500 rounds in an afternoon.
Tried using the cheap Blazer rounds to save a buck but they sucked so bad it wasn't worth it.
Bought a reloader with plans to start making my own but it's still sitting in the box and has been for around ten years.
Ya cant use it out in the garage since the humidity is so high here your powder clumps up and I hate being in the house if i can avoid it.
Suppose I could use it in the winter when the humidity is lower but I'm a lazy bastard at heart.
On the plus side I have several 5 gallon buckets full of brass so if I ever get motivated.........

I had a Beretta Nano that was a jammo-mattic. I also didn't love the Ruger LCP 380 either. I don't have big hands by any means but the LCP 380 was too small to the point I couldn't comfortably shoot it.

Both were sold within a month of ownership.

Okay....that has to be the weirdest looking pistol I've ever seen...
Looks like something the Russians would make.
The grip angle looks all wrong for some reason.

IMG_20250901_130639.jpg I bought this semi auto .22lr Ruger with a Volquartsen barrel. And EVERY single time I want to fire more than one shot at a time it jammed. I use the highest match grade ammunition, had it professionally cleaned (thinking I didn't do a good enough job) and still it's a piece of shit. Sold it back to the gun store without any "regerts"

Sounds like it has a problem that got by inspection.
    My cheap 10/22 never jams.

Match grade ammo tend to use heavier grain (longer) projectiles to keep them subsonic. It could be that the chamber was cut too tight or maybe the extractor claw was worn out?

I had it gone through pretty extensively to try and figure out what was causing it to no avail. Everything "looked" perfect but my guess was chamber cut too tight as well. The shop gave me what I paid for it so I didn't lose anything but time and some patience. I have a bolt action CZ that fires perfectly every time with no trouble, so I just use that to send my ground hogs to their graves.

Made in W. Germany in '68.

It's a contact pistol, like too close for comfort type contact.....press against and pull would be my guess.

My least favorite was an RIA Tac 10mm HC. Put 500 rounds through and had constant jams and ftfs.

Had RIA fix it and sold it before ever firing it again.

Also have a very similar RIA Tac Ultra 10mm that has been flawless after break in. It can be luck of the draw with some of these manufacturers. I still would not trust it as my backcountry sidearm. And it is heavy. So it gets range time and safe time.

I have a Springfield XD-M 10mm that has chewed through every ammo I have thrown at it from steel cased to bear loads. It it my go to sidearm in bear territory.

My favorite is a 300 blk SBR with suppressor. Lots of fun.

It was from their economy lineup that's since been discontinued.

I was going to trade my old wheels and tires to a dude in Beaumont for his AK, but he backed out. Ended up trading a with a dude in Cypress for an FN510. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. First 10mm I ever owned. I like the capacity of the mags. 15 and 22

I love my G43. Perfect carry

My least favorite is probably the Shield 9.

It functions well, I don't dislike it really, just don't love it.

The Guy that reamed the S&W will only do it to certain firearms that he considers strong enough to handle the extra pressure.
He has a list of the Guns He'll modify.
Bought the S&W specifically to get it reamed.
While the ammo can be difficult to find it's out there.
Bought 1k rounds and replace what I shoot as soon as possible.
