285 75 16, I drive a first gen so unsure what size you'd be interested in. In 3 years or so when these are up for replacement I may go with their mud tire or even their new AT. I don't daily this truck anymore so I can put up with more road noise and such next time.

5000 miles in and I'm loving the Falken Wildpeak AT3w's.
Quite, affordable for a 37" tire and showing no signs of wear.

BTW they have been excellent in the rain, snow and muck.

Yes on my Jeep Cherokee I couldn’t get more than 45000
Which is decent but not as good as other brand names for the price

BFG KO2s here. Wife has wildpeak’s on her 4Runner.
ive never had balance issues with the KO2 nor she with her wildpeaks. Wildpeaks are wicked heavy for their size. My tires have more tread at 55k (8-10/32) than hers at 40k (6-7/32). And the wildpeaks start at 18/32 vs 15/32 for the KO2s.
I’m not crawling or desert high speed wheeling. Not extra heavy on the go pedal. But not a granny either. Tow a 5k lb boat June-Sept. snow/salt the rest of the year. I’m not going 60mph through 4” of standing water on the road but even in heavy rain I’ve never felt out of control. I’ve been satisfied with both brands, although due to weight and wear I probably won’t put the wildpeaks back on the 4R. Maybe the new cooper at3 xlt.

Had BFG AT’s and liked them. A lot. Not the greatest in mud but never got stuck. Also lost a valve stem on the front tire pulling a trailer on the highway. Felt a little mushy so I pulled over and found the problem. The sidewall was still holding the wheel up pretty good. Drove it about 5 miles home with no air. No damage to the tire.

Nitto Trail Grappler was great and surprisingly quiet. After wearing down they’re not so nice.

Toyo A/T Extreme are fine but suprisingly not very good in wet road conditions.

Going back to the BFG A/T’s once the world crisis is over. Oh and they throw rocks like crazy, which should be considered if you’re pulling a trailer....

I question the great weight debate for truck tires. I was a weight weenie cyclist in a former life and claimed weight means close to nothing in that world. Gotta show me the grams on a scale for this claim to hold weight ;)

My two choices of mud tires are
BFG Mud terrains and what I currently have Yokohama Geolander MTs I’ve got about 8000 miles on mine right now and still look new wearing very good.

have K02s on Nissan PAthfinder. Excellent tires in dirt and snow/ice. Noisy and mpg went down though.
Had Toyo RT and now Toyo AT2 extreme on Tundra: quieter than K02 and as good in dirt but not so great in snow/ice. Next set debating on Ridge Grapplers, Falken wildpeaks or new Toyo AT3s.

Shopped around some today and I’m loving the looks of the ridge grapplers the most. I don’t do a lot of driving, so want a good looking, performing, and low maintenance tire that won’t kill the mpg too much.

Don’t expect more than 13 mpg and you won’t be disappointed.

I like my nittos quite a bit.
Now I'm running path finders and I'm actually quite satisfied with them.

I wanted Faulkner wild peaks but the weren't available. They look great and I haven't read anything bad about them. They would be my first choice easily.

Ran a set of BFG KO2s on an F-150. Liked the look and ride, very quiet. But they sucked on wet pavement and wore too fast. I sold the truck before replacing them but guess probably needed to be replaced at 40k?

I just put a set of Falken Wildpeak AT3s on my Tundra due to recommendations on this forum and so far I really like them. Good style, aggressive tread, and Very quiet smooth ride, and a great price: 275/70R18s for $185/tire!

At the time in early March, Amazon and Walmart has them for $185 a tire. I see they’re $225 right now. I got them from Walmart since Amazon was sold out.

Are you asking me to perform your google search displaying that Falken’s are heavier by 3-5lbs per tire in nearly every size?

Or saying that you don’t believe printed manufactures specifications are correct?

Or that you don’t think physics is important?

    I’m confused

This is my SR to TRD Pro conversion in progress...next is a slight lift. Did the rear 5100 shocks and +1 shackle. Going install 6112s on the front set at 1.9” with shims.

Don't believe stated specifications are correct. I've weighed too many bike parts, including bicycle tires by the dozen, to believe that the manufacturers stated weights are correct. The actual size of your tires is also not what it states on the sidewall if you measure them, this is the same in bicycle tires. I just don't believe the weights without a measurement besides what the manufacturer says, don't see why that's unreasonable.
I actually have 4 Falken in 275/70R18 with 10,000 miles I can weigh on my bathroom scale. I'll do that today. Then we'll need someone to weigh some other brands and compare them to claimed weight.
Won't change my opinion that they're great tires though. And extra rubber is not always a bad thing for my intended use.

Update: I weighed 2 of them and they both weighed 59.2lb. Claimed weight 61lb. Don't have a tread depth gauge but they still look almost new.

This is great. Things you don't like about a tire are just as important and someone liking a tire. I never liked the Bridgestone Dueler's. I had Michelins on my Ridgeline. When they wore out, tried Bridgestone Dueler's.
The snow traction was horrible. Even with the 4 WD we had issues on a slanted surface. When they wore out, went back to Michelin.

Any tire not made in China, that doesn't go flat nor wear out earlier than spec.
I've always had good experiences with BFG's in all the types I've tried.
Michelins suck since the last ones I tried on my DD only lasted half their spec life. Luckily America's Tire has a great warranty policy.
