    This is the rear diff on my 2014 4x4. What is that hole for? It has threads.

    They made that for a cheep Finlander to remove the differential.

    It could have something to do with manufacturing and or another application for the differential. If your in the salt belt it would be advisable to put a little silicone on a bolt to seal it up, took me forever to re-tap it for the lifting bracket.

    Does any know the torque specs for the front drain/fill diff plugs, Tran. fill/drain and rear drain/fill diff plugs.?? For a 2k15 tundra
