What is the proper way to do a 3" lift?

    I think the shims are ¼ inch. Check with coachbuilder for a real answer. The ride with the spacers was rough and just felt 'clunky'. With this setup I think the ride is as good as if not better than the factory setup (maybe a little less bouncy). That said, it's still a truck, so rough roads are still going to feel....well....rough.

    This, but I would add that instead of a rear block, get new leaf-springs w/ more arch/travel and matching shocks.

    Hi guys, anyone know the overall hight of their truck with a 3” lift kit standard wheels and tyres and the difference with AT or Mud tyres 33 or 35s, trying to choose a lift and tyre set up that allows me to still access my garage lol thanks

    Everything. Literally.
    Last truck was a 3" toytec on 20s, 35" MTs and I had about an inch to spare.
    New truck not so much.

    Do you know the overall height of It!? I spoke to someone who had a 6” lift on 35s the truck was 7ft so tryn to work out a rough estimate on what 3” would be!?

    I don't know the exact number but my garage has an 8 foot door tall door and I was literally just clearing by the width of my hand, so just a couple inches short of 8"
    I'm camping right now or else I'd get you exact numbers. Sorry broseph.

    No problem maybe you could shoot them over when you’re back! Thats weird the lad with a 6” lift was 7ft to the top!
