Bullydog still doesn't have a solid tune for the Magnunson SP on the 2019. Harrop claims "no tune required" but that scares me. Just want to see enough people prove the system before I give it a try. :(

I’m pretty sure OV Tuned has a tune for ‘19. IIRC he has a Harrop S/C kit for the Tundra. I thought this was available for ‘19s as well. Their website store is shut down now due to a massive software update in progress. Perhaps someone else knows for sure and will chime in.

Thanks, there goes another $400... I should really put a time limit on scouring this site. :spending: Can I justify it by the 'savings' of not going to the dealership, because I wasn't going anyway. Or the amount of time I will spend in my life taking off the current skid plate, on my back, in my driveway... Damn you Tundras.com!! And also at the same time Bless you for making a toyota so much better than any other truck out there.

Idk what color truck you have, but mine is MGM so this looks much better.

Ugh, that looks really nice. Against my better judgement - what did you use to do this, and how does it look on your truck?

Oh believe me, I know. To do the same on my previous truck you had to essentially pull the fuse or the negative cable on the battery anytime it froze - and it froze regularly (as in like, multiple times a week). I almost wept when I saw how easy it was with the Tundras. :)

That's one of my favorite things about the Tundra. It's an exclusive club.

I don't like the creaking dash when it gets very cold (-30F and below)

Thanks man lol. So I got the red trd inserts from tufskinz for the trd pro skid plate. they make a bunch of different colors. I had a local shop powder coat it matte black. I wanna say this ran me either $50 or $100, but it will all depend on where you are and the shop. The reason I had to get the trd inserts was because the ones that come with the skid plate have these little cheap rubberish clips that go through a couple tiny holes in the skid plate (you'll see what I mean when you get yours), but to get it powder coated, these had to be taken off and the guy was having a hell of a time trying without damaging them so i told him F it and just destroy them because i have new ones. Here's a pic I have right after install (don't mind my woolwax covered tow hooks lol). I only have 1 pic, but the powder coating has held up extremely well and has been on since dec 2019 with no chips or anything, only place i have seen it even slightly chip is inside the door bolts where the allen key goes but that's to be expected since youre twisting a piece of metal in there ( i just had him powdercoat the tops of the bolts) i think it looks really good and the red trd insert really pops with the trd front sway bar.

I just really didn't like the idea of having a giant white slab under there when everything else is either black or mgm.

4 Things annoy the hell out of me and I can't really fix these

    1) Auto/one-touch window controls only for front windows
    2) Keyless entry only has touch sensors on the front door handles, not all 4 doors like every other vehicle ever made with keyless entry
    3) Door lock switches and some others are not illuminated at night
    4) Brake pedal feel and steering feel. (To be fair these are still better on the Tundra than any other truck IMO)

The low payload is also annoying, but I knew that prior to buying the truck, so I can't complain

That looks really good man, I guess I never really noticed mine popping out that much since my truck in white.
That looks really good as well. Unfortunately, that's a sure-fire way to guarantee my truck would get keyed out here.

Oh yeah I mean if my truck were white I would have kept it the way it was, but I like the black with my MGM and having everything look cohesive. Hence why I'm pissed the new 2020 handles are so expensive compared to the older models. Those are my last pieces of chrome to get rid of, already have the mirror caps, just waiting to install once I work past the stomach churning sensation i get when thinking of spending so much on the handles lol.

It really sucks that this country has degraded so much that we have to worry about showing our patriotism, who would have thought this 5 years ago...

Someone .ay have already covered this, but the USB port is only for data transfer. I believe you can play music from a thumb drive, but otherwise it's basically for nav updates. It's not built to charge or sync with your phone in a normal manner.

Definitely my biggest gripe with the truck. Even the cheapest Camry has all auto from the driver’s door master switch.

Please Toyota... give us the all windows down with key fob... makes it so nice to start the summer cool down ventilation a minute earlier. I have this on my current Audi S6 and had it on my 2011 pathfinder... come on!

My 16 Mustang GT had that. A $30k car.

You all keep talking about lack of more than one express window. My 19 has it for the front two. Maybe that's a Limited thing, but I agree it should express for all four and the rear glass on any model. Maybe the rear doors not doing it is a child safety thing.

My biggest annoyance is the navigation. It's annoying to set up, the distances don't update fast enough when you're in that last few hundred feet before a turn, and the voice recognition is infuriating.

Crappy seat upholstery that looks stained when anything wet touches it. Crappy stock halogen headlights(2017). Fuel mileage. Lack of a diesel option.

Yep mine unlocks all 4 doors when using keyless entry. As soon as i go to grab my handle it unlocks all 4 doors. It's a setting in the head unit somewhere under vehicle settings

Some people like to keep it just for the drivers door (my fiance does this as a safety thing) if some situation happened where you're running to your car to get away from someone, you wouldn't want all 4 doors to be unlocked.

Speaking of safety, one thing that's annoying is you can either do one click on the remote to only unlock the driver's door or to clicks to unlock all 4 doors when you get in the truck but when you park it, it will unlock all 4 doors regardless of what you did when getting in.

I have mine set to open all four doors as well. I was referring to the lack of sensors in the rear door handles for keyless entry. The Tundra only has the sensors on the front driver and passenger door.

Any other vehicle I have driven with keyless entry has the sensors in all 4 doors (some even have them on the trunk). So for example, you can walk up to rear passenger side door, grab the handle and all doors unlock. With the Tundra you have to touch one of the front doors first, then open the rear door. Seems extremely cheap and half baked to me. Annoys me because I regularly have things I want to place on the rear floor/seat before I get in the truck.

Its a tie between, the unlighted outside mirror adjustment switch, and difficult to use sliding rear window on the double cab.

STEREO is garbage for a 45k dollar Truck. Besides the auto start turning off. i really don't have any other complaints.
I'm pretty happy with it overall.

I know you can change out the stereo, and I can also add an aftermarket auto start that won't shut off.
But I have had many other cars that this doesn't happen to.
