    Alot of them
No power sliding rear window on the DC. No idea why they went back to manual. :(

Maybe, but at the same time Ram had it figured out at least 10 years ago, so not new tech. On the '10 Ram you used keyfob to remote start, hop in, put in the key and turn to run (but don't bump starter) and drive. Didn't require the engine to stop then a second crank on the starter. It's another small detail that just makes the whole experience so much better - and Toyota is totally capable of doing, but just doesn't. Why? I mean, they've gone through the process to include it, why not take the extra half step and make it right?

Don't get me wrong, Toyota does most things right and really well. It leaves me scratching my head as to why they chose to implement these seemingly simple, cheap things in such a subpar manner.

For me it's having to listen to Ram and Ford owners try to tell me I'm missing something by not having a giant screen in the middle of the dash that will render the truck useless if it should take a shit.

I came out of a 2017 Silverado 2LT into my 2016 Tundra SR5. I had a double cab in the Silverado and I needed extra back seat space with the baby coming (actually purchased it while in the hospital for her). The Silverado is what I typically compare the Tundra too because it was my most recent and only other brand of truck. I really liked the Silverado and miss the leather steering wheel, footsteps in the rear bumper, 4wd auto and the colour matching bumpers/grill. That being said I have contemplated doing a chrome delete and remember how much I hated seeing a new rock chip in the bumper/grill every other day. I was really impressed with a lot of the options that came on the SR5 since GM loves to upsell every tiny thing (Albeit they were always good to me). If I had to big the biggest things, and there is not a very big list, I really like the Tundra. I wish it had a locking rear diff, I found that made a huge difference in the winter around here. I also wish it had the 4wd auto. Everything else could be added if I needed/wanted. As my first Toyota and I had always wanted a Tundra/Taco but there just was not enough room in the Taco (No more room in the double cab Taco than in the double cab Silverado) so the Tundra it was. I will say that everyone always comments on the gas mileage. Maybe I don't do that much driving? 30, 000kms a year and 80% highway but I don't find much difference between it and the Silverado, which I considered decent on fuel.

For me it's the creaky bed, creaky squeaky interior plastic and shifter and the clunky transmission feel. But so far it's been very reliable and looks great all cleaned up.

I also daily drive a '19 F-350 that's just crossed 20k miles and that truck has actually been really good, no major issues at all which kinda surprises me since I've had plenty of issues with Ford before. It has it's fair share of creaks and weird noises as well.

I'm sure the next gen Tundra will address many of the issues we all have, it's an old tried and tried platform that we have now it's just not the most elegant.

This is easily fixed with the 3WLiners window control module. Not only do you gain auto up/down for all 4 windows you also can roll the windows up and down from your key fob.
I just wish it would incorporate the rear window for us CrewMax owners.

    https://www.3wliners.com/product/toyota-tundra-window-control-module-low/

    As for the annoying things:
The craptastic electronic LSD. The truck would do so much better with a true LSD.

    The 28 gallon fuel tank

The placement of the back window switch.

All 3 of these will be remedied in the near future. Just wanted to get my suspension done first.

Dodge has ergonomics down; that team does an incredible job. It’s just the reliability part that’s ultimately disturbing. Would rather my truck keep going down the highway than some damn Mopar fairies making me comfy sitting on the side of the road.

@Black ‘s first comment on 3WLiners is what makes this forum invaluable for so many. Make sure you pass along the kudos when you make these mods and it remedies something for you. Gratitude is becoming so rare in our awesome country these days, gentlemen!

Did you catch the Drawing Black Lines 20 year anniversary live stream concert a couple weeks back? It was great. Wish I could have gone. So pissed Covid screwed the whole tour and they had to do a single show I could not make.
Drawing Black Lines is one of the greatest albums of all time period!

    Nothing!

I’ve owned one of every generation, including six other Toyotas.

I knew what I was getting...

...a relatively large truck that does what is needed on the weekends...

...a reliable daily commuter that can handle all the weather...

...all the while being the family’s “most comfortable” vehicle to travel in...

I do miss those little pockets in the door handles of my 2008, and the second glove box. I’ve got a moonroof now, so can’t have the bigger overhead console anyway. And I’ve also got the dual zone AC (a big reason I waited till 2021 to get my TRD Pro).

But overall? No complaints. I had almost 300k in the 2008 - my ass and that seat were like peas and carrots. When I jumped into the cab of this truck the first time, it felt just like a pair of comfortable shoes with a new pair of socks.

Starting I think in 2010 it was power sliding in the higher trims. At some point in the Gen3 I think all trims got it. I didn’t realize they back pedaled on that in the recent years.

    Idiotic isnt it.

The Intermittent Stalk was $128 I think and mine was a 5 minute job to swap in and now I do have them.

Well....now I know they did a DBL 20 year anniversary live stream a couple weeks back. LOL

Seriously though....been working a crapload (civil service server admin) since we went from like 8 to 4 people, so I've not caught much of anything recently. That would have been awesome - and I concur on Drawing Black Lines, although I have to admit to a soft spot in my heart for their debut album too. I'm amazed they're still going strong! :)
