I smelled bleach in the laundry room ~ the plastic jug had developed a leak ~ bleach trashed the shelf and dribbled down the wall.
Off to the Depot for another decorative shelf and a hose hangout for the back yard. The shelf and hose hangout were a breeze to install ~ cleaning up that spilled bleach, not so much.
I hope I got all the bleach cleaned up ~ that stuff is really corrosive !

Made a trip to the dump with a truckload of crap. I tripped over some junk yesterday "for the last time", so went into Purge the Garage mode this morning. What started with an old metal bed frame ended up including some old chairs, two sleds, an old skid plate from my F150, a crap-ton of garden hoses, a burn barrel and a few other misc things. I just kept grabbing more and more junk. Now I can actually walk in my garage.

I need to do this....top of the "honey-do-list"... did you just tap into the water supply line to the washer? Or did the house come plumbed for a sink?

I haven't tried that, they do have a low light setting where they stay dim until they detect motion. From there I suppose it depends how much sun they got during the day.

Yes it is. They actually have a massive pool and a lazy river. Takes about 5 min to float all the way around the lazy river!

My steel guys have made some good progress in the last week. The main shell should finish this week. I’ve got seven garage doors on this building. I have some 14’ tall garage doors to allow for RVs and large horse trailers to fit in the garage. 4490C30E-CBC2-41F5-9DF7-AE0AFFEF3803.jpg 8007A7AB-AAF3-45A0-B956-0AF25508EDD0.jpg

It was a crap ton of roots, coming into old 4” clay pipe, that stuff is heavy!! They dug the hole and paid for materials. It’s been a long day but it’s done and flowing!

Things are moving right along on my barn project. Most of my main timbers are installed now. We still have more steel plates and anchors to be done. About half of my exterior cinderblock walls are done now. It’s been a process since all my electrical, plumbing, data and communication wires are all hidden in the structure.

My crew started on my solar project yesterday. My house currently has 100A service, so part of the project is a service upgrade to 200A.

They hung the inverter in the garage but couldn't get up on the metal roof due to the ice and snow on it. They headed to another job today to try to finish up there. I'll update next week when they really get going on the project.

I got home after dark. Finally got the framing and elec passed yesterday and garage doors and openers installed today. All pics taken with flash light. Also last week we did have one thing done, had the power company man out and helped decide to go with 200 amp panel because we decided to put meter on garage pull power from pole instead of house.
PS- I do see the crooked remote switches. submitted for @1UPPER review.

Made a barrel stove. I'll do one burn like this then I'll be cutting a hole in the top to insert a pan to cook some maple syrup. As most of you know I Normally I run a large scale 200+ taps with a 2'x8' evaporator but that's not gonna happen this year. So this little hobby stove will work for me and my daughter to make enough for us.

Nope. It sucks. My brother put the squash on it. The equipment is in his barn so I'm kinda screwed. He has some shit going on I guess but he won't tell me what. So he said even if I do it myself that he doesn't want anyone in the barn or whatever. So I'm gonna tap about 10 treed and cook some at my house with my daughter.

Your garage is looking great! I bet your glad to see everything coming together. Good call on doing the separate meter and a having a 200 amp panel for your garage. That’s a big plus if you ever add anything else onto your electrical.

Looking good, i redid my garage and tried to do it without permits, on the second to last day of completion, good ol inspector comes cruising by and makes me tear 80% of it down. Now every time i go into the garage i say a curse word under my breath, its getting better now, the cursing that is.
