My neighbor swears up and down by his. Although I can still out-tractor him, and he probably has 30 more years experience than I...LOL. :D
Minus the part where I’ve almost rolled it a handful of times.

Made a little more progress on our flooring project today. I have been on pause for over a month due to an elbow injury. Feels good to work again on my days off. ;)

On my horse barn project I’ve got soffits over the horse turn outs being installed. Electricians are working on rough in work for the barn lights, fans and switches. 4BBA64F2-287E-4D1B-867B-56FC645DB00C.jpg

It’s a work in progress still but the finishing touches are coming together on this project. I got the white mahogany stair treads installed with the recessed led lighting underneath the stair treads. By Friday my finish trim guys will have the large wood landing on, remaining trim and lighting will be done, all floor protection removed and final clean will be done. This is going to be one of my favorite addition projects when it’s all done. 2BD9AE71-BA90-482C-921B-EAA0F00854FC.jpg

Took the advice you guys gave me and fixed that door. Hopefully for good.

Ignore my curious dog. Now I just need to scrape the paint off the glass with a razor.

Damn there is some really good stuff going on here lately. I've been clearing space in my garage all day, made a bit of room for a toolchest that my wifes uncle gave me. It's in good shape, I'm excited to set it up. I have another taller tool box that will be set up soon too, just need to pick it up.

Thanks! I have a lot of tools, they're just all over the place. Two canvas bags and a 30x12x12 tool box, and my separate plumbing tools in their own box but those won't go in this chest. It's going to be so much nicer having them centralized and being able to wheel them to the driveway.

Oh yeah, that thing looks like it'll double as a tool cart very well!
I have the same separation. Mechanics tools in a giant tool chest, and construction tools in rolling cases. Keeps me sane when looking for the different tools for different projects.

Yup. I put my channel locks in my mechanic bag once and felt so wrong. I used them to crimp a few wires, as soon as I was done they went back to the plumbing box.

Just finished completely tearing down my 9 month old garbage disposal to free all the rusted and seized components.
Why in the world they made the internals of something that is wet constantly out of a metal that rusts is beyond me....

A few weeks ago I installed a TV wall mount and bought a cheap 4k TV for our hobby room. The wife hates cords, so I attempted to install a hidden cord kit. Well this wall had a fire break stud halfway down the wall. I used a 54" long flex bit to drill down through the stud inside the wall (or so I thought). I ended up drilling through part of the stud, but it punched out the other side of the wall on our stairwell. Today I "fixed" the hole by hanging up a large picture. ;)

Did some garage organizing of my own. Started with some Husky cabinets then some Gladiator gear track, and finally a Pro slat 4x8 wall. Next I will get some steel pegboard for over my workbench .WIN_20191117_15_38_01_Pro.jpg WIN_20191117_15_38_15_Pro.jpg WIN_20191117_15_38_27_Pro.jpg WIN_20191117_15_39_03_Pro.jpg

Ha!!! It’s that time of the year! Cold and raining out....so I’m re-working my shit-storm of a messy garage as well.
Just completed building 6 new tote-racks last night. Now moving the old shelves out to the shop and rearranging everything over the next few weeks.

I spent about 2 hours over at my mom's clearing brush, vines and overgrowth with a chainsaw and a machete... Wisteria vines are trying to envelope her property - it's worse than Kudzu.

My boss came over this weekend and we finished the structural reinforcement on my garage to prep for my solar project. Now, all I need to do is put the new metal roof on before we get buried in snow.IMG_20191117_145337.jpg

I've been working on getting a nice fence up for a while now. Almost finished. I ran power 240 feet to the gate this last week. The family wants Christmas lights down the fence and on the gate. And I'll have power for my gate opener, which I'll install this coming week. Anyway, bought 20 ft live stock panels for the fence and welded everything together. About 750 ft of fence. And built some boxes to keep harsh weather off of the electrical boxes and gate open equipment. I do wonder if saving the money and doing it myself was worth it sometimes. The conduit not attached will be for a data line. I may put a camera and buzzer out there at some point.
