Yeah, I was kinda worried about a certain government agency stopping by for a photo shoot… :spy:

They were amazing - they did the finishing touches this morning and finished everything by 10 am and spent an hour or so cleaning up the yard and doing the magnet sweep (they did that after every day of work).

So many good things to hear in your process. And it looks fantastic.

Side bar, my plumber is a Mexican, and the only honest plumber in town IMO. Doesn't overcharge, shows up on time, and always shoots it strait without trying to upsell me shit I don't need. Also leaves the job site only after cleaning everything up.

Got some insulation in today, about 1000sqft. 1400 more to go, but mostly ceiling and it will slip right in. I've left the "tougher" cuts around the plumbing for tomorrow morning. Insulation inspection is Friday. Upstairs is all blown in high density cellulose. 1 inch foam behind the studs, 2 inches outside the concrete, will be a total of R-30 down here, and the floor is R-15 with 3 inches of foam under slab. For the floor area we will put down something, I am trying to figure out another light layer of insulation to decouple from the concrete further. Up for suggestions!

Tried my best to get it clean and tight, I am sure some out there could do it better!rock1.jpg rock2.jpg rock3.jpg

Had a couple of Anderson casement windows installed, bought a greens mower for that low life, and burned off the yard.

love watching videos of that process and those mowers. Live in an area the correct grass types won't grow though so I can only envy from afar. Keep us updated on the process!

This was last years lawn. Still has much room for improvement. I think with another sand level and this new mower; it'll be better this year.

It’s definitely something to worry about. Slime builds up in the condensation line and blocks it off. Then the overflow pan, well, overflows. Usually into your attic space creating a ceiling stain / Sheetrock failure into your living space

Always nice to know I need to worry about more things! :annoyed:

How often do you clean it out? Once a year? This product looks to be some form of continuous clean out which is nice.

i shopvac the drain a couple times a summer. This thing basically drips bleach into the line to prevent the slime growth

I saw it on a commercial last night and wanted to see how much it was. My electric pump drain actually started dripping on the garage floor a couple of months ago. I pulled the pump out of the housing and it was gross. The way my system is set up caused the filter to get wet when the sludge backed up the line. I'll snap some pics in a bit.

Wire in the safety’s on the pump and get a overflow switch as well

It dripped from here and backed up into the handler causing the filter to get wet. The pump box on the left side had some nasty stuff in it. I'll have to see if I can download the instructions to see where it would install in the line.

That’s interesting, mine is a gravity drain and it just dribbles out when the AC is running (it’s a heat pump). They put a clear tube so you can see if junk is collecting in there.

There is a separate overflow line that drains down to a water alarm.

The first time was 7 months. Then they had to ship it back to get resized. So a total of 10 months.
