I think the names of his vehicles are signs of things he wishes he could still do with his Fords.

3 new Kohler Cimarron toilets. Elongated in the master bath and upstairs hall bath, round bowl in the downstairs bathroom. New quarter turn shut off valves and new supply lines too.

Back when I was a young plumber in training, this guy Vince who I learned from had this whole sales pitch about these toilets when we would have dude customers. He said it with such enthusiasm that the customer would get excited and want one in every room.

"It's two inches taller so your legs won't fall asleep. It has an elongated bowl so you can let your boys hang. It has a 2 and 1/8th inch trap and a 3 inch flapper, when you flush it BAAAWOOOOOOSH! If you plug that thing...... you need to see your doctor!"

So the game plan is: large patio, gas fire pit, hot tub and bbq kitchen area..... we will see how all THAT goes:)

I read a lot of reviews of other grills struggling to hit 500 degrees. Glad I spent a little extra on this one, passed 500 in under ten minutes during the initial run.

I have a 15+ year old Weber 3 burner that still gets to 500° on propane. I replaced the burners, flavorizor bars, and grills 5 years ago. Other than that it's all original. And I leave it out on my deck year round in CT, no cover.

Damn do I know that feeling. My lot is 100 feet deep and I trenched from the center of the front diagonally to the back left-hand corner by pick axe on a Friday night after work so that I could lay a corrugated tube on Saturday morning. The lot itself is too small for any actually machinery. Front of the house was no problem but the root network on the side was crazy.

They are indeed but I needed to put something in as a stopgap until they get out here. The only specifics they could offer me on the timeframe were "July or August" so I added two drain basins, one at the top of the yard and one in the middle, to catch water that comes rolling off the street as best I can. If I can reduce it by 60% or more at the top of the yard then I think the rest of the yard, as well as the other drain I installed, would handle the rest.

I installed the basin nearly two inches below the soil line so once the city installs theirs and I am sure that it works to collect all the water, I'll just cover this one with dirt and be done with it.
