have you asked around to any local farmers who would be willing to cut it for hay a few times per year. A lot of people nearby me will do that with large fields

That’s what my buddy said to do too!
There’s a guy that comes around and cuts all our neighbors. But I think they pay him, then they sell the bales on their own. I’d just rather not deal with it, so I’m going to search around for someone that will cut, bale, and pack out.

I had my guys start the site work for a new Equestrian Ranch project. So far we have excavators, front end loaders, rock saws, backhoes and a giant rock milling machine on the site. We’ve removed over 15,000 yards of material so far. The rock milling machine is very impressive to see in action. It chews through 6”-8” of solid rock at a time. It’s outrageously expensive at $600 per hour. 977A0095-981E-49E6-A71E-3FC8DEA22BE8.jpg

This is the upper cut for the 19,000 square ft barn, 100x200 arena & lodge quartets. I’ve got a few other structures on the site as well. We still have more rock to mill off this area to get proper slope for the to water shed off this area.
    D8E7F5C8-A72B-43DE-85B3-D9849FDEBAAA.jpg
This is the lower cut area. This will have a 140x280 Open horse arena & horse walker on this area. Still have to get dozers with lasers leveling capabilities to develop a pad area yet.

It’s always exciting to breaking ground after so many months of planning.

Thank you! I’ve got a good 10-12 months of work for this project. My arena will go up first, then the lodge, living quarters and then the barn.

I’ll post up some other projects of mine when I get a chance.

We're moving to the Philly area (Huntingdon Valley - 19006) in the near future and recently closed on our house out there. We had five trees removed (and the others trimmed) a few days after we took possession of the house. First pic is before tree work and second pic is after. The house has good bones but needs a lot of cosmetic work (and yard work!). We'll get it there in time...

I like those. Do you need a special dimmer switch? I assume the switch needs to be in the "on" position for the halo to work. I like these hit dont have many dimmers in my house so it could get expensive

Broke one of our garage door springs ha but glad I wasn’t in the garage working on the new deck railing I’ve been building for our deck. Here is one of six railing sections for the stairs. Deck is 16x12 that we built this last summer and the entire deck has similar railing. Off to powder coat hopefully in a couple weeks when I have time to finish the last few sections up.

Not quite home improvement but some things for the yard.
Hung up 4 bird feeders in the yard today thanks @COMiamiFan.
2 to attract finches, one for cardinals and one for small local birds. My daughter has been really into birds the last 2 years and loves spotting the colorful ones. I am making some nectar now for a couple hummingbird feeders on the deck
