Oh yeah, I do most of the cooking and a white kitchen would not mesh with my cooking style...

Sounds like your dog is bored and needs some more exercise... I'd recommend playing w/it more and spend less time polishing your Tesla ...

That was for the Target comment :duel:

Those covers are made w/foam... I'm guessing pup smelled water; did some 'investigation' w/its mouth; decided the foam material felt really nice to chew on; and after destroying the first one thought, 'Damn, this is awesome!!!! Chew toy replaced w/o even asking'

You can try one of these and just see if something w/a different smell and texture cures the problem. There are not chew-proof or indestructible, but the different material may be enough. If not and the pup wants to destroy it, it can certainly bite through the material w/o too much difficulty.

    https://www.homedepot.com/p/Hard-Outdoor-Faucet-Cover-1981/204759083

If that doesn't work, you may have to contain the faucet by fencing it off; unless you want to conduct some 'extinction' training... If so text me, and I'll walk you through it

Just know to keep an ear out and don't leave the pup back there unattended till you have an idea on what it's gonna do.

Your pit can still bite through that and you don't want plastic shards in the mouth or getting swallowed.

Fortunately, hard plastic isn't very fun for them to chew; so one bite (or even a smell of it) may resolve...

I almost wonder if the initial draw isn't the dangly rope looking thing hanging down.... I know if I was a dog, I'd think it's a rope tug :D

You may want to check the old one and see if the pull device has teeth marks; if so it's probably the initial 'draw' to the object (pup sees rope, grabs it and pulls, device pops off, pup continues to destroy prey).... If this is the case you may want to tape it to the box so it's not sticking out like that...

Neighbors have come out and talked to me about the project throughout. Only complaint was the yellow door. Told her to wait until painted. She likes the yellow now with the colors I chose.
Cover with hot sauce or mustard. Dogs don't like the taste and will leave alone. Did this to some door trim when mine were pups.then the chewing stopped altogether after they got older.

Forgot to post since I was in a rush to finish it a few days before I went on vacation. Deck is done. Wired in some lights for it while I was at it and had some extra to make steps for my little shop

Thanks. Just hoping the lights last cause it’d be a bitch to replace any even though I have extras.

Troubleshooting dishwasher over the weekend (leaving dishes dirtier than when we loaded it), wife realized it's no longer heating. Googlenator and diagnosing looked to be thermistor, got the new one installed this evening and dishwasher back in place...looks like that did it, but still just an empty run at this point...

First set of expensive ($14,000) mahogany doors installed. I know it’s small potatoes compared to some of you big guys, but I’m small potatoes.

Yeah this was her splurge on the whole project. I’ve seen some of the projects other contractors have done here. They don’t mention prices, but I can see that some use very expensive materials when their clients require them.

Man if your small potatoes then I guess I'm mashed potatoes....
I thought I was doing good last year when I changed out the front door, garage door, shed door and relocated the side door..Sheech.

All honesty that door is really impressive, the two moon lights compliment it nicely, great choice.

This is for a client. $14,000 is definitely not in my door budget. I got color matching on the truck to do, bud!
