made up some of my acoustic movie poster panels for the theater room today. Not 100% perfect but dim the lights and they work great! :D

Cabinets have been painted (mostly). Hardware is on (mostly). Butcher block counter tops are in house and being treated. Island base cabinet is roughly in place, will get some add ons and build outs to complete it. Pantry has some shelves! Will need some more. Slowly coming together.

We thoroughly cleaned and degreased the cabinet faces and lightly scuffed them. Then we primed and painted with Sherwin Williams paint (Evergreen Fog color). Unsure the exact paint spec, but could find the can and share.

Rolled the paint on. Special nap roller and special paint formula that lays nicely per the Sherwin Williams folks. Turned out nice

Well I have a tile guy friend so thankfully I don’t have to do this bathroom. The tub surround is coming along well except Great Floors measuring and selling me short 2 boxes so now I gotta try and order more and wait I’m sure  waiting for my sales lady to call me back. 72A88EEA-405A-4B9A-A910-683C2A9EB000.jpg
In other news I wanted the front door replaced for thanksgiving but as always everyone is behind and this looks like a spring job now with our current weather.
Side note; I hate French doors, especially sucky sealing French doors. Ice anyone?

Nope, pretty sure the ice goes on the other side of the door. Good luck getting it sealed!

Got a little bit of that going on with these negative temps lately. Probably need a new bottom seal.

Yes please. The real kicker is she tells me that instead of the $19/sheet that I paid originally she has to charge me $32/sheet for this order because she isn’t sure how it was that low originally and she was loosing 8% at the price point. Tile will be here end of next week…..hopefully.

I Bobbited our banana trees in preparation for the freeze. I ended up putting a foot of mulch over the roots. We'll see what happens in the spring.

Then I climbed around the house sweeping leaves off of the roof and digging shit out of the gutters. Tweaked my back a bit so I'm plugged into my H-wave. It's done though.

If you paid already and/or signed a contract/agreement, you shouldn't have to pay more....especially 100% more! Maybe I'm wrong, but that's pretty sh!tty.
If I tune her up, she'll be out on maternity leave in a few months. She may be crippled for the next couple days too. So a very short window of her to give you hell

A flamethrower to burn down the neighbors giant pecan tree that is overhanging my house would be ideal.

I have the Worx combo one that acts like a vacuum too. The gutters were so full of water and decaying leaves that I would have completely covered myself. I'm gonna try to be a little more on top of it all next year and hopefully be able to use the blower before it gets so nasty.
