Thanks man. Been wanting to do this for years. I'm about 1/3 done with the border. Then next week I'll pick up new crushed stone and spread it.

I will do that. I did some stone in a different area I'll go take pics and I'll get more of that stone to do around deck, I like the color and look. Old stone is gray/white/black crushed granite which is nice but I want something bigger in size and lighter in color.

I worked for about 2 hours today and called it quits. Have to do short stints with my back but it's gonna get done slowly and injury free.

New vs. Old stone. I'll also do new stepping stones leading to the deck , I re did the deck last summer so I wanna make the whole area look nice.
I got about a half yard of the new stone for free from leftovers from my brothers project at his house

Last pic shows where I used some in the front garden.

That's a nice area. I'm not sure about what grows down there but some cactus and stuff with a little color would look great with some stone, maybe look into succulents? I really like those railroad ties

I have my plumbers, electricians & framers working on a horse arena and barn today. I’m building everything from the ground up. 689203AC-0210-4D55-B5D9-D5218C5B41BE.jpg

I am confused if you have your plumbers, electricians and framers working on it how is it that you are building everything from the ground up? Lol

Not really, if it gets repossessed you still owe the money. More like when guys say I put a 3” lift on my truck today when actually the local auto shop did. Lol

Thanks! Your two most common options for a steel structure are a weld up building like this one and a pre engineered building. Pre engineered can be a bolt together kit but they do cost more money.

Installed a new pressure vacuum breaker for the irrigation system after work. Put unions on this time so I can take it off and it won't explode like the last one. Left it on 1 too many days last season.
