I got my new saw blade (thanks for the recommendation @RainMan_PNW ) and worked on the deck a little bit more today. It's a little harder to cut and goes a bit slower but it's a tough bastard. I'm using it mostly to cut a channel so I can get my sawzall in to get the structural boards underneath. I'm able to cut out sections now, so it's helping. Just too damn hot. One of my sawzall batteries overheated after about 10 minutes. I was only cutting for about 3 of them.

I've never seen a blade like that before, and it looks ominous in the saw!!!!

Since you refuse to work at night, let me suggest a pair of these... I think they are Ryobis from Home Depot! Looks like they plug in and hook up to a garden hose...

Yes, that's the primary reason i got it is so I can start my AC on generator power.
It does have some other benefits too though. Prevents short cycles, like when the power goes out and comes right back on, it won't start the compressor for 3 minutes. Something I wish my thermostat would do, but doesn't.
And it stopped the lights from dimming inside my house when the compressor turns on.

So this soft start works on shore power as well? That’s kinda nice.
How old is the stat? Sometimes it’s deeper in the install settings for a compressor delay. Also if you do get a new t stat don’t get a nest or one of the BS Wi-Fi stats, I’ve seen sooo many issues with them vs a traditional programmable stat

Yes, it is meant to be connected all the time. Unfortunately I do have the nest thermostat. I don’t see anything in the settings or google about a compressor delay for a quick power outage. I’ve never had any issues with it but I wouldn’t buy another one.

Not gonna lie, I was a little nervous when I first turned it on...

Wouldn't I get electrocuted with those water things?

Wife started staining the beams/pillars to match the front patio. That wood absorbed 1 gallon on just the little bit she did.

Continuation of 8456. My original idea was to do about 25% of the area with the full seed, fert, and peat moss. So I do not know this morphed into doing the entire area. After raking rocks and twigs I fertilized and seeded the entire area. Then used a peat moss roller for 40 each of 3 cu ft bales. I had 20K and 18K steps those days. I think I finally got enough hoses and sprinklers to cover most of the area. The grass I’m planting is a Tall Fescue, which is drought tolerant, so once the grass becomes established, the watering will cease. I am using two 4 port Orbit B-hyve controllers for the water. 15F1C974-E7A8-4EE2-B3C8-80D7B08EDB0C.jpg

Wish I had more hydro experience. When were were in TN, hydro-electric dams seemed to be everywhere.

Hydro is awesome. Being clean and renewable, it's not going anywhere. We get a lot of coal plant guys jumping ship.
That's cool TN has so many hydros, wouldn't be a bad place to relocate!
