Might be a noob question, but I am thinking about hooking up a little sink in my garage that drains into a bucket. Would i be able to put a T connector on my cold water inlet pipe to my water heater to the sink without issues?

There is no pressure issue or anything like that i assume? Anything I would need to be weary of?

2C6C1BA4-894F-43F1-A90C-3B1C833AF14D.jpg I installed a curved shower Rod Into the Jack & Jill bathroom. It was one that required screws into the wall. Drilling into the porcelain tile was a first for me. Then you have to trim the rod to size. Glad it turned out well. A second photo to show it really is curved and one with the final shape of the drill bit. It was a Diamond tip by Milwaukee. Used a lot of water spray for cooling.

So who is our resident appliance expert?
I've got this fridge that's 6 years old. Recently changed the cartridge water filter in it. A couple days after I started noticing water pooled up in the catch of the water dispenser tray under the water dispenser. Water is dripping through the water nozzle on the dispenser (circled below). it's not a constant drip though. it will drip about 10-20 drops of water then stop. and maybe hours later (whether someone uses the water dispenser or not) it will do it again! i keep a small cup under it for now.
Every time i change the filter, i would purge about a gallon of water though it without any issue. Since it was doing this, i considered there may be air in the line because sometimes when I go to get water, I'll push the button to dispense water, and it would have a half second delay (that it didn't have before) then it would dispense water. The other night I ran about 2-3 gallons of water though it to see if it would purge any air. It still drips randomly though. I've got another filter on order and will replace and see if that's it. If not, wondering if it's the valve on the backside of the fridge. Any input appreciated y'all.
    *EDIT* it's a Frigidaire Gallery

Are you sure it’s not dripping from the ice maker?

yep. cuz the sh!t ice maker went out a while back(typical of this model apparently). but i've watched it come out of the nozzle and not from within the ice dispenser

Ours drips from the icemaker - next fridge isn't going to have an ice maker or dispenser.

unfortunately we like to use it and we both drink A LOT of water. ice....eh. not as much. we drink so much we prefer room temp. (beer is cold tho:D)
but yea, we bought a stand alone ice maker to make some when we need. it's nice to keep in the freezer for events we host (fairly often) and not have to do the whole, "oh sh!t! We need ice! go run to the store quick!" ordeal.

Yeah, we've got a Scotsman ice machine that just constantly pumps out that sonic style ice - I only use our refrigerator ice maker when there's a freeze in the hope that it keeps water moving through the refrigerator line under the house. We have a whole home water filter so the tap water is just as good as the water coming out of the refrigerator. I completely relate to what you are saying though.

Don’t want to hijack this but have a quick question. Does anyone have a fridge that they love? I’ve got the dreaded Samsung and is likely going to be replaced this year.

I guess I got lucky. I've had my Samsung fridge going on 6+ years and love it. But it doesn't have a water spout and only makes ice in the lower freezer.

We have a LG that was a replacement for another LG whose compressor went out - we are supposed to get a check from them one of these days.

I like it beside the ice maker leak but it's most likely leaking because we never use it so the ice nearest to the opening is melting a little. It's not a bunch of water, just leaves hard water stains...

I would buy another LG. Wouldn't touch a Samsung. We always buy from Lowes and get their extended warranty though.

I got a Reciprocating saw so I can get in on this whole cat theft thing... :spy:

Seriously though, I'm really grooving on the the cordless thing. They are also having a deal on Bosch where if you buy a tool, you get a battery and charger, so I got their little Shop Vac thing. Told Mrs. Bandito I splurged on her for Valentines Day (and her birthday). :)

    I will never have one!

You can't believe how many customer's homes I've seen destroyed by the refer that has a water supply
or the unit it self that has leaked.
