Nothing like a little water damage to force a "remodel"

They do make couplers to extend the pre charged line sets.

So those units I’m sure aren’t “professional” grade but if they have a bunch of reviews that seem to be good, it might not be a bad deal. A lot of the issues end up being from installation error, it’s not difficult just tedious.
Your mounting location would be the next hurdle, you could extend the line sets but you also loose capacity as you extend further and further. If that tan wall is where it would be ran to, maybe you could build a breathable cover over it so it’s not an eye sore? It doesn’t look like you have a ton of options for mounting locations

Had carpet put down in the master and closet.. should be able to get the closet finished in 2 weeks if the delivery date doesn't change again on the closet system.

This looks good. My house has gas, propane, for the main living area and electric for the smaller basement. They claim the heat does not travel well from the ceiling furnace above the main level to the basement , so they put in electric heaters in the basement rooms. I plan to add a heat pump for $$ savings on the main level and am thinking of a split heat pump for the basement. I was hoping g to have the original furnace guy do the main heat pump and split, but if he does not do splits I like this idea. Wiring is no problem for me bit the refrigeration side had me worried. It looks like the MR Cool takes care of that somehow…. More research is needed.

Haven't looked at all the responses yet but one of The biggest problems with these "internet" units is parts down the road. I Will NOT even touch one because of the hassle and greef from Harry Homeowner that the cost to repair his $1500 unit is $600 and part is in China. Lots of us will not even touch them. I recommend you pay now for a brand name for a known local AC company and not cry the blues later when you can't get the main board or no one knows who to call for the supposed warranty Mr Cool says you got.

    PS dont do this please.

What is proper to do with the excess hose from the 25’ provided if you don’t coil it up? Make sure the unit is far enough away to not have excess? Just curious as I am looking into a mini spilt option for my garage. Thanks!

Cut it is the best way but these DYI precharged sets MUST be laid horizontal if cutting and sweating is not an option. Don't leave oil traps to kill your compressor in a year, probably grounds to void any warranty.

Panel got hooked up as well as the dolphin skimmer. Company gave me a run down on the functions of the pool and how to. I'll definitely be referencing the manual a couple times until I do it a few times. Enjoying it so far. Although the app to adjust things like yhe lights and all isn't as good, it still does what we want.

Hung two 5ft long farmhouse rustic style shelves. I ordered these out of Texas for a xmas present to my wife. Picked up a Weber Genesis E325-s grill this evening. Hoping to set it up tomorrow.

Great BBQ but I’m biased as I have an older model. I like it so much I rebuilt the guts a couple of years ago instead of buying a new one.

This will be my first Weber which is replacing a worn out Charbroil grill. I've heard many good things about Weber and can't wait to try it out.

Since my rebuild, I’ve been doing a burn off of the grease bbq remnants after every use. It seems to prolong the life of the guts. Usually 5-10 minutes of leaving the burners on at approx 500 degrees works. Easier to get ready for the next time. I bbq’d some steaks last night at 42 degrees outside. It was my first BBQ since moving, and now have a covered area on my lower patio that is out of the elements.

Well, I attempted to build the Weber on Sunday and made it to step #7 before I realized there was a problem. The left side panel has a vertical brace on the inside that is riveted from the factory and was installed upside down. With the way they packed everything in the box there was no chance of me trying to box it back up for a return. I called Weber customer service and they were very responsive. I explained the issue and they created a ticket and sent me an email to reply to with pictures. They called me back today and are overnighting a new panel to me. They are also throwing in a Weber grill brush and a 4 piece set of their Weber pint glasses for my troubles. I didn't even ask for anything besides a replacement panel.

I did look ahead at the steps and figured I could continue the assembly as it appears the side panel can be easily removed and swapped after the fact. So the grill is done aside from the left panel needing to be swapped. I could have easily drilled the missing hole and mounted the propane scale, but figured at the price of the Weber I'd rather have the right pieces. Outstanding customer service which is hard to come by these days.

I second this. My Weber Genesis cost me $700 bucks in 2013 and I literally do almost all of my cooking on it daily as I grille all my meats and veggies, so needles to say it get a ton of use. I recently did an overhaul on it and replaced all the burner tubes, flavorizer bars, heat shields and even bought new grates. About $150.00 bucks and its brand spankin new again.

Q: I know it doesn’t say it, but can I use this for the bathroom faucet? Pretty sure a small layer is allowing water in, which is dripping behind the sink

Edit: Cold water handle is stiffer; which leads me to believe I’ll need to replace the cartridge in it, which I think may be a result of the city hard water and it may be deteriorating thus causing the water to come from there?

This should be your fix. You might temporarily be able to caulk up where you see it leaking, but I imagine that will just divert the water to leak somewhere else. You likely have failed rubber seals on the cartridge. A new cartridge/rebuild kit should fix that.

Just my opinion w/o seeing anything.

I think it’s the cartridge as the cold water handle is becoming a tad stiffer to turn on / off. I’ll have to hunt down the model of this Moen faucet
