So after a bit over a year, on my way back from the mailbox tonight it finally hit me, almost done. I plan to detail my home renovation upon completion(has been difficult...), and while almost there, there is certainly more chaos in store. Few pics from outside.

Is the 4th pic a lemon or citrus tree?
Crazy how the different landscape is across the country. I have to bring my lemon tree inside for the winter (right about this time of year). I was talking to a guy down at our local watering hole who just moved from AZ. He said where he came from they averaged 125+ days a year over 120 degrees. I about fell over LOL.
It was 83 today here - and that’s like hot as hot gets for September. Normally we’re 65 or so lol.

The third pic is a lemon tree, the fourth is a cocktail tree. Produces limes, grapefruit, and tangerines. It won’t produce for 2 years, get tons of lemons though. I think your watering hole buddy might of been pulling your leg. Ive never seen 120, but it has been hot, my thermometer said 102 today.

I was thinking the same. Just throw whatever seed you can down and let it return to prairie.

1600 lbs fertilizer. Spread about 800 lbs tonight. Goes a HELL of a lot quicker than 1500 lbs of seed.
Tundra had some seriously shitty drawers

Planted, mulched and watered (6) more 3 gallon Carolina Saphires which brings to a total of 66 of these trees I have planted around our home.
They grow 3-5’ a year and make a great border/property privacy screen.

Also had a forestry mulcher clear some more property.
    Badass machine! Saved my back.

17000 lbs of skidloader/forestry mulcher gets the job done. This beast will turn a 25” round 60’ pine tree or any tree into mulch quickly. It clears land down to the dirt- not cheap though, they did an awesome job.

Installed two new windows today in the garage. 25 a piece. The light is unreal now compared to what it was

Amazing how bright natural light is. Huge improvement over any kind of lightbulbs you could buy

When we built our house, I took every window from the plans and stretched them top to bottom and widened them.
I designed the house, so every single room has a window. Our master closet, master shower, master shitter, upstairs bath, upstairs shitter, every room.
There is no replacement for natural light.
    I love light LOL.

My brother and a buddy and I were able to get the roof rafters up for the wood shed. Put 6 4x4 posts in place to hold them up. Roof is pitched front to back, will be corrugated metal. Back and end wall will be rough sawn pine with spacing for air flow. Left side of front is getting cattle wire fence to hold the wood on place. And step will be added to get up into it easy. The reason it's up off the ground is because of snow and mud during the syrup season. We lose space and convenience but we're better off with it up off the ground. Next up is flooring then roof then siding. Waiting on some lumber to be milled.

I'm calling the front of the shed the part that you see the barn door opened into. And calling the end the furthest part from the barn. Make sense? Originally I planned to have the roof slope like a lean too from the barn (being the highest point) sloped down to the end, but we would have lost a bunch of head room even with just a 2/12 pitch over 16'

Wrapping up another project. I had my guys do an outdoor led lighting ambience for this pool house project. I had uplighting and downlighting done on the the fence post and the front porch columns. I also did mini spots to light up the four dormers. All the lights were painted to blend in to the various areas. 65965E74-F239-440D-A829-75B6FE5D02FB.jpg

    Flux capacitor!
Another barn project almost wrapped up. If the rain would finally stop I could get the rest of the painting done and hang the 5/0x8/0 barn doors. Yesterday I had the dutch doors hung and the four stalls were installed. Only have a week of work left weather permitting of course. AE5117F3-1D07-4CA5-8552-C6AE908FC6F9.jpg
