Pool guys arrived about 6:15am unexpectedly to get started chipping out the plaster. Team of 4-5 guys knocked it out in about 4.5 hours.

Well my neighbor got the tree guy here this morning. A team of about 6 with a chipper, truck crane/bucket and got it done in about 2 hours. I had to pay $50 for them to put my part of the tree on the ground but they went above and beyond and cleaned all the limbs from my yard too. I just had to move/roll the wood to a better place.
NOW I gotta figure out the stump. It’s lifted so much I’d rather get a trailer and skid steer to lift it and go to the dump but don’t know if that’s possible.
With that tree gone I may have a nice spot for a 10x12 shed once lumber prices chill out

Cleaned out the boiler room and watched the garbage guy take it all (except for the dozen and a half cans of 20 year old paint) away today. YAY!!! Only took me nearly 8 years after moving in to get rid of the stuff that the previous owners left!

Now to get the barn's loft emptied...

BTW... I'm still trying to figure out what this piece of linoleum that they left behind was for. Any ideas? 'Cause I'm fresh out.

Looks like that piece of linoleum is a frog removal tool or used for frog transporting. Hmm....I don't know.

Maybe the previous owner did, but I don't have a frog problem. You see, my wife has chickens. If you don't know, chickens are NOT vegetarians... and any frog or toad in our yard is taking its life in its paws.

Our plaster was 15+ years old, so it was time. About 2K is for upgrades to the current setup.

Borrowed a skid and gave this stump hell....it was bigger/heavier than I expected (hehe) but it’s out and I don’t have to deal with a stump grinder now. still took some work though

Cleared, built a box, and raised the yard 18 inches using only a shovel and wheel barrel. This took many weekends but we finally finished!
