Nice. I need to get some for my 2 bedrooms upstairs that face south. Really cooks those rooms.

A good solar film can pay for itself in energy savings in 1 1/2-2 years. Before we applied the solar film the Ac unit ran non stop. Now it only runs about 1/2 as much. Make sure you look at the ratings of the films UV transmission. Solarium is all done and I have another happy client! 18CD2E5A-468E-4A5A-A2AE-1D576DE1D247.jpg

Obviously, by looking at the dormant brown yard I did not do this yesterday but it is still probably the biggest project I've tackled at this house. Made the wife (and myself) some pretty heavy porch furniture. 20171125_105450.jpg 20171125_105505.jpg 20171125_122650.jpg 20171220_190032.jpg 20171220_210724.jpg 20180103_134612.jpg 20180104_192530.jpg 20180104_195251.jpg

Haha thanks! We love having a good place to chill outside especially when friends/fam come over to hang out. The tractor is awesome! Those beams are freaking heavy.

That's actually an Oklahoma whitetail. Good eye. That was a battle to convince the wife to hang that in the living room.

I’ve got another barn project being built for a client. My guys did everything above the concrete slab in three days. I should have the whole project done in the next 3 weeks. Exterior will painted next week. Masonry & standing seam metal roof the following week. Barn doors will be built next week. 83445AB5-F050-4F67-82BC-CD7770C455D3.jpg

TRD PRO grille, OCD consol organizers, DIY wireless phone charger, 33" Michelin Defender LTX MS, Bak revolver X2 tonneau, weathertech liners, 20% tints. DIY pop n lock, 2018 LED headlights, morimoto fogs, TRD shift knob, DirtyDeeds 8"BAM exhaust, kenwood HU,JL amp, Tech12volts Tundra full speaker upgrade w/sub, Swing case, and lots of fluid film
Framed the floor for a wood shed annex off the maple syrup annex of the barn. Used some wood salvaged from a deck demo, hey why not it's still good. The floor space is 15x9 ft, roof is going to be 16x12 ft. There's a PT 2x8 lagged into the barn with GRK 6" structural screws, and some free PT 6"×6"×10ft beams on concrete piers under the floor joists. The rest (parts you'll see) will be rough sawn pine post and beam, except the flooring will be rough sawn oak. Roof will be green or brown metal 4'x16' panels w/ a 3 pitch. Walls will be wire cattle fence. Trim and bracing will be rough pine.

4 nights straight and 3 x 10g tanks of diesel almost prepped for seed! Wife is pissed I’m out here 5pm-11pm every night lol
Shop put on hold - due to short window for seed.
Tundra holds 1,500 lbs no problem. Just 4 or 5” of saggy ass :)

Looking good! I’ve done a similar set up with my tractor to smooth the ground. I’ve dragged an old 12’ chain link gate behind the tractor across the dirt. It acts like a large cheese grader for soil. I’ve also dragged a heavy steel pipe.

I don’t even want to think about that LOL. I did score a Woods 60” like new rotary cutter, 5ft blade, 100g water tank, and a broken seed spreader for $800 last week :D
At least I can mow with tractor next year. Although I wish the brush hog was 15ft wide and not 5

    Thanks!
Yea, I have been using my 7ft box scrapper which drags a 10ft heavy pc of steel and behind the steel a 12ft pallet.
The chain link fence is a great idea!
I found that when you link the 3 units together the weight really helps out a lot. The tractor is getting a workout, that’s for sure. Mines a manual too - not Hydro which I guess is more of a pain but I don’t know any different. I did break a 3pt arm bracket/bolt due to so much stress on the 3pt. $75 later it was rollin again.

I love my windows tinted in my home. I did partial this spring, and it makes a huge difference.

The solar effect can really be damaging inside a home. Today, I raised all the blinds in our living room, and within an two hours, the room went from 68* to 72*. I would rather have a more constant temperature controlled my by HVAC system.

    Thx!
I ended up going with a blend of Orchard, Tall Fescue, and Rye. The guy I bought it from swears by it for pasture grass. He was a prize winning sheep farmer lol
Eventually we’d like some livestock. I need a write-off lol.

Disconnecting plumbing in master bath and kitchen to prep for granite counter tops tomorrow. Cleaning out a spare room, damn the amount of little crap you build up.

No kidding on crap you build up! I go by the “if you haven’t used it in a year, it goes to the goodwill”.
That of course doesn’t apply to guns, tools, or anything man-related.
That only applies to the woman and the kids :D
