I have the same unit. It replaced a 15 year old Liftmaster unit. Very happy with the new one. The range was greatly improved and the lighting is night and day.

Belt driven so much quieter than the old chain unit. Luckily everything was just about plug and play. I didn’t have to replace sensors or move the mount.

I used this video as a reference: https://youtu.be/ekPy7w9UIdY

    Good luck.

After work I decided I would hang a new light in the dinning room but that turned into a cluster .

Last owner decided to move the switch it would appear. They cut the conduit and ran the strand wire up in the attic and then just did a open air splice in the wall with 12/2 but it's a 15 amp circuit. Thankfully I had all the parts to correct it and get the light hung

Did he plug that into an ext cord in the attic? That plug looks more like some type of PVC plumbing or something.

It’s a clip on light with an extra socket that he left the bulb out of and used as an extension cord of sorts. I’m really surprised it didn’t catch on fire any time it was turned on :tinfoilhat:

Our hallway, adjacent to the kitchen, was a coat closet when we purchased the home.

Quickly removed the doors and tossed in some wire shelves for a more usable pantry. Also a coat closet on the second floor is pretty useless (split level).

    7D3CE165-45B0-4BFB-9222-13770D84E9B5.jpg

Fast forward some time..ya know, life stops every project..

Finally decided on the layout and look we wanted to achieve. All done and wired up..

The upper light is hardwired to a switch.

The countertop lights are hardwired, but on a motion sensor placed in the ceiling of the cabinet. This enables them to activate with the simple swipe of someone’s hand across the countertop (which is perfect for grabbing a snack and not illuminating the entire house).

I feel your pain Squatting Pigeon. Some people just need to leave everything alone .

The best one I found so far was this guy it's a light 8 feet away from the pool in a post light ..just wires twisted together and sitting in the post to run a outlet on the side of the post .. something that could have been all put in the box and protected.

You wouldn’t believe the amount of times my wife has locked herself out while I’m at the firehouse, but I digress. In doing so, the keypad now protrudes out enough to make contact with the handle of the storm door, making it so I have to leave the storm door unlatched to shut the entry door. Anyone got an easy fix for this, like a lower profile handle or something like that? Here are some pics.

You can replace the handle set on the storm door with one of those flipper type ones on the inside. That might not contact the front door lock hardware. Lowe’s/HD should have what you need.

I cant be too hard on the guy, the garage only has TWO outlets
    And none in the ceiling.

This week I will be throwing two outlets into the ceiling, one for some drop lights and the other for the opener.
Maybe in the future I will add more wall outlets too.
