Well kitchen is finally getting torn out by water and mold mitigation company after weeks of air testing and spore samples. Good old leaky dishwasher. 1B7107A7-ED3C-4ED7-9AE0-F7DC66350708.jpg

15% front/5% rear tint. Aftermarket remote start from JRT w/ tech12volts.com. Swingcase. LED headlights, fogs, & switchbacks. 6" ReadyLift w/ Bilstein 5125s on rears. 20x10 w/ -19 offset Hardrock Painkiller Exposed. BFG KO2 325/60R20. Front bumper spaced 1/2", removed mud flaps.
Concrete is expensive! We were gonna go bigger on our drive, but we were already around 12'x175' before getting to the turn to the garage and that was high enough. Gonna be interesting when the pool goes in around next year or next.
Luckily they're doing it. Seen some companies try their hardest to say it's fine. Hopefully process goes smooth and quickly.

Yeah. They seem to be on it. Looks like the whole kitchen is gonna be the deal. The AC is getting removed and cleaned as well.

Cleared out some tree/bushes that got overgrown and scalped the grass where I park my camper. Going to spray with a grass killer and debating on if I’m going to dump about 6 yards of road base to make a camper pad or not.

Need to fix the fence between the two posts and put another one on the house side. Planning on using a 12’ ranch gate and then facing it with 6’ tall fence pickets. Y’all think that will work out ok?

    planning to use this: https://north40.com/ranch-king-1-3-4-pasture-gate#horizontalTab

I was going to take the posts out but they are cemented in. Thinking on the house side I will put a steel pole and cement that in, then use that to bolt the j hook hinges through and support the weight of the gate. Gate will swing to the center wood post and latch there. Normal fence between the two wood posts

Did the door trim today. Tomorrow will be the window trim and it’ll be done. Then I can focus on killing all the crab grass on both lawns. Also, had a mouse in there the other day. Little bugger ate a hole in my grass seed bag. Set a trap and a few hours later it got him. 54B17933-117C-475F-AE76-0313223F8733.jpg

Fixed the roof ridge cap shingles that were coming off. Found 2 on the ground and ended up being 1 short....but I have a stack of normal shingles so I made one. Should work out ok

It's been a minute since I've done mold removal, but make sure they have full containment and they are bagging everything in at least 4 mil bags. Any level of mold typically required full PPE and containment. They should have a negative air system setup vented through a HEPA filter. From the small bits I can make out from the images they did a mildly decent job at sealing everything.

PS, they fubared that corner molding in the last image.

I'm sure I'm beating a dead horse and I'm glad they are following all regulations. I hope they do it right the first time so the repairs can begin! Living without a kitchen is never any fun.

My RecTeq grill came yesterday. Put it together, smoked some dino ribs today and built some ramps for storing it up on the side porch when I'm not using it. I had the idea to put some guards on the sides so it doesn't roll off and land on me after I rattle-canned them... Anyways, the smoker is awesome, the ribs were incredible, and the grill didn't fall on me and kill me when I pushed it up to the porch. It was just a winning kind of day. Well something wasn't underneath it but something definitely wanted under it. I was out back today just to check on the mouse trap inside (empty:)) and checked behind it. Some of the bricks behind it (brown wall side) had been moved. About 5 of them. The cinder block wall side had a lot of dirt dug up and about an inch and a half gap under the bricks and the dirt, so something could have gotten in. But anything big enough to move brick would be too big to get through that small a gap. I put the dirt back and moved more bricks to cover the dirt. I'm thinking raccoon. Maybe an opossum.

Changes out our attic lights to some LED ones I've seen advertised and found on Amazon. Simple screw in to the existing socked like a standard light bulb, but 3 panels of LED's each.
Also built the girls their trampoline since the storm took out their other toys. Also made sure and anchored the trampoline down since we have some fairly consistent winds out here with a lack of trees to block any.
Links for lights and anchors. Pretty happy with them!

Very much enjoying my new house with no grass to mow in the front yard. Just some decorative grass that will get cut down before snowfall.

That really looks good. Does it become a creek when it rains? Is the house on a hill or something?

It does get pretty wet in there. The gutters on both sides go into a tube underground that lets out in the rock area somewhere
