Just un-seized my year old garbage disposal for the second time in three months.
Word to the wise, don't bother with Waste King disposals. They put the "garbage" in garbage disposals.

Yeah, there’s quite a few thing I would have like to have said but it’s best I didn’t in the long run. I got home today and went straight to my backyard to do some work filling in the gap under the fence. Apparently sweeping up is too difficult for her to do but putting decorative brick up against her side of the fence to cover the gaps under it isn’t a problem. 8F367D11-6847-40FC-B116-85EB0B5826EF.jpg6632D44D-0FC9-418B-9BA8-EFA185C94C17.jpg

Anyways, I spent two hours filling in the gaps on my side with the dirt that was removed for the concrete footing of the fence posts.

And since my house doesn’t have A/C and was 90 degrees in my bedroom at 9pm last week, I order a portable A/C unit off of Amazon. It’s a Black and Decker unit. 14,000 BTUs. And since my girlfriend is teaching online from home, I put it in her office/classroom/craft studio/guest room.

Tried my first attempt at wallpaper for a fun little project. I didn’t want a blank screen all the time, and I didn’t want a blank wall with the screen up. The scenery is a wallpaper mural. The framed area is the size of the projected viewing area
    DC1C8845-5708-4875-A771-EF87B547A9B2.jpg

I tried to post the video of the screen coming down over it, but my extension wasn’t acceptable.

And it’s complete! Shoe molding, thresholds, everything installed and the room back to normal. The dogs are taking a little while getting used to it.....

I had today off from work due to the Chargers having a scrimmage at the new stadium. So yard work was in order.

All I wanted to do was plant some grass seed. History had other ideas...

The first brick was covered by just an inch of dirt.
    CB5C2933-0DAA-4739-9B91-C02021C277A0.jpg 048CA5A1-8A00-4B09-A4D3-4CDAA5ECB358.jpg 62035F93-CAD7-44F5-A65A-4B6C82C9A2BA.jpg DC3F2460-D3A1-4711-A6D3-C80F183284F2.jpg 646356EF-C196-40C0-977A-234E04E2C3EE.jpg 1A675390-518E-4F49-9D2D-9671E5085075.jpg 2D7E942F-2C63-4B99-ABCA-66B39BEB2FC5.jpg EAA26BB2-B987-4C06-B58E-959632960E31.jpg

I stopped counting after 30. After looking at that brick it was either a fire pit or maybe a small well, because there were some piece still together that were radius’ed and would have formed a circle.

The good news is I was able to fill in the hole left by the brick with the dirt that was removed for the fence posts.

Now to dispose of all that crap. Good thing the Tundra has a good payload capacity.

I kinda have the same thing going on here but it's super thick landscaping fabric. It's anywhere from 3-8 inches under the dirt and it's a pain in the ass. It's been here so long that there are tree roots growing over the top of it. I've pulled out so much of that crap and I'm still finding it. I feel your pain.
