New dog, 8 weeks, so home improvement was cleaned up piss puddle, then cleaned up piss puddle, then said "good boy" cause he went to door, then hour later cleaned up piss puddle, then cleaned carpet of crapola cause kid left door open, etc. etc. etc. Tomorrow will be same home improvement project. Great dog though.

Screenshot_20200818-182555~3.jpg On my JD X500 I replaced a sheared off bolt on the idler pulley arm. While I had the deck off, figured it was a good time to degrease and clean the tranny case exterior and change the fluid.
Been mowing our 2 acres for 10 years now with this machine and that broken bolt is the most serious repair (outside normal maintenance) I have had to do.
Like the Tundra, a John Deere mower is very reliable and built well!

    Thanks!

Modified a plan from Ana White. She has some great plans. I widened it to make it a loveseat and I incorporated even more pocket holes to get rid of any exposed screw heads. I also used cedar so it was pricey, but I love cedar.

Starting a little bathroom remodel update . Replacing this huge mirror with two single mirrors, new faucets going in, new fixtures, wood paneling on the wall, and some other decorative shelves and such. First step taking this big mirror out.

I was able to pull off a 4x6 mirror a couple years ago. Thought I did great, had it stored in the third car garage for a few months, then a gust of wind rolled through while the door was up... Looked very similar to the hallway pic above. :annoyed:

Oof, I did something similar with my last full wall mirror. I got it off the wall in one piece and was feeling pretty good! Then when I was lowering it down to lean it on the wall in the garage, my helper dropped her end a little sooner than mine and it was suddenly a mosaic.

Tape it all up like a checker board and get some wood shims hammer them in all around it and it will eventually release from the wall

That’s how mine basically was just stack shims like a big train one after another. One pushes the next one down keep it even the whole way down.
