Yes sir, 1.5” holes drilled through every one of them. :D Taking a stab at a DIY water feature
And the Tundra moved the almost 3,000 lbs safely in 2 trips lol. :D

It doesn’t side-hill for shit. Even with the tires filled with liquid lol. Thing is a death trap, I swear!

NICE table! Now I've got further ideas for my shop. :)

On a side note - wife is from where you're @; we visit there every winter. (Well, when COVID-19 crap isn't going on, that is. LOL)

Damn, my heart goes out to you. Doing the same bullshit here. Two layers of plywood, surprises in every wall, framing done by a five year old blind kid with parkinsons. End wall done last wknd, starting the back wall tomorrow.

Just had to pick up 2x8s and 4x6s (the sacred, golden, sought-after PT:eek:) because not only is the rim joist eaten/rotted but the sill as well. On the weight-bearing side. AND its the floor that my gym is sitting on, like theres a vehicle parked in that room. No wonder it was jiggly.

@FlyingWolfe thankfully mine didn’t need any major structural revisions. Nothing some foam and flashing wouldn’t solve. It did take me a FULL two days to complete tear off and haul to the dump.

Wrap is almost done. Should finish up that and trim tomorrow, then start hanging some laps. Hope to finish by Tuesday.

I feel your pain. When I resided mine 5 windows the sill came out when I tried to pull the trim. Then I found carpenter ants in the corner and had to replace 2 sheets of plywood and about 8 2x4s.

Man, I wish I had 1/2 your patience/skill for the exterior eye candy stuff. Your property is really nice. I had to laugh at your death trap comment. I’ve had a few breathless moments, but I’ve also experienced much less stable machines:eek2:

Ha! Thank you! Unfortunately, when we built the house 4 years back our landscape budget was $2,000 because I blew the rest on the tractor!
I did everything myself, and I’m not creative.....lol.

Now, I’m having to go back and with the help of a really awesome friend who happens to have a degree in landscape design, re-do everything - 1 bed at a time.

Is that an MX series Kubota as well??:thumbsup:
Mine has been an absolute machine!

Yup, MX5800. I’m really liking it so far - only about 25 hours on it.

    LOL!! Something like that! :D

Nice on the MX! It’s a workhorse. I bought mine used with less than 100 hrs and now I’m somewhere around 700hrs. It’s literally moved thousands of yards of earth. :D
The dump-truck guys that were delivering 10 loads a day for weeks were like - “you’re really spreading this with a Kubota and not a dozer?” :D
Yes sir, correct. And it works. LOL

Drug a dump truck up our muddy hill after getting stuck as well. Driver was like “uh, I’m probably going to need a wrecker”.....I was like - welllll let’s give it a shot

A little late posting. My Zoysia rooted and made my first cut Thursday. Thick plush grass. :D

This is all new to me though, and although it's a low maintenance grass, you still have your problems and need to take care of it.

Here we go.....not sure I’m ready for this. First water feature DIY and it’s going to be 20ftx17ft of splash pad. Scared just a tad.
Have to cut below grade 6” for half of it, and then 2ft below grade for 1/4 of it. o_O
Kubota is going to screw up the grass. :(

    Embraced the suck all day.

Sill and rim joist completely gone from rot and termites. Had to jack the house up and replace both as well as support and hanger the floor joists, then new framing for the porch window and roxul. Prior owner of the house is dead but id still punch him in the balls if I could. Ive never seen so much shit covered up and ignored in my damned life. (And his framing is horrendous)
