Thanks. I don’t like my tramps to move much

It was supposed to be like a soft rock, (rubber mulch) but nobody had it in stock.

My old neighbor dug a hole and lowered his to ground level. Built stone retaining walls all around the hole. When the kids got bigger he plucked the tramp out with his mini excavator and use that as a burn pit / bad ass fire pit. It actually looked really good too. Not to give you any ideas for a new project haha

We thought about that, but would not want to have to dig it up to replace the mat should it tear.
I only had this dug into the ground a couple of inches, and leveled out tho. Our smaller dog seems to love it and thinks we did it solely for her lol.

The excavation team finished the pool dig yesterday. Should be cleared for plumbing, steel and electrical early next week!

Repotted some plants and added some more plants to give the back yard some color yesterday.

LOL!!! I did that with our temporary pool! :D It was only a half-wall, but since our land slopes down, it allowed me to cut into the side so the pool wasn’t above ground. It’s an excellent idea!
You can kind of see it in this pic. Eventually I’d like a nicer pool, with a deck around it that’s flush with the yard.

I moved the trampoline waaaay out back so we didn’t have to see it LOL. Make the kids work for their fun. :D

Got my outdoor sink hooked up. Just needed a rubber washer and new faucet. Home Depot had the same one that was existing for $20. Didn’t want to deal with any threading problems with the existing hardware. This will eventually be replaced with something much nicer.

Also did some sanding and painting. Now I’m gonna enjoy my Saturday. Happy Fourth of July everyone.

ok I didn't want to be the first guy. I am really questioning that flex vent. I am not in a state know for harsh regulations but a flue has to be double wall. At least it was 20 years ago when I did residential work.

Mine goes straight from the water heater through block right into the block chimney, it's a strange angle.

You got central air. We have base board heaters and fans. Oh there’s an empty closet where is used to be. Still on hit list as “next home improvement”:pccoffee: :anonymous::pccoffee:

Over the weekend I cleared out a lot of stuff from the garage. Forcing my wife to go through her 12 tubs of crap and throw stuff out. I cleared this wall, ripped off the stupid peg boards that were there and build some shelves.

They're strong as hell and only 15" deep. I have some 24" deep ones on the other wall that will be torn down this month. I hate deep tall shelves, that's how stuff gets lost.

Long day in the yard. Did some concrete patchwork on the cinderblock wall. Removed the lattice and pressure washed it some more. Sprayed some grass seed on the front and back yard. Did some weeding of the backyard. There’s a shit ton of weeds.

I finished installing my stained 1x6 tongue and groove ceiling for my center cupola on my barn project. This was a lot fun to do while being 40’ up in the air. My 12’ macro air fan will be installed this week on the center I-beam.

Bought new kitchen cabinets at Homo Depot and got the uppers hung after work today.

Gonna do the flooring first before the lowers go in though.

Got the lower cabinets set, now need to swap a few of the uppers around since we moved the stove over a foot and wait for the remaining uppers to show up. Then on to moving the fridge and redoing the lights

Anyone have an opinion on the DIY blown in insulation like you get at Lowes? My house is roughly 2700 sq ft. 1 bag is approx. 40 sq ft. They have it if you buy 100 bags, you get a 30% discount, but that would be 4000 sq ft of insulation. Not knowing how thick that 40 sq ft estimate is based off of, would that be too much?
