The old school washer / dryer was the best but those are long gone. I hate the new tech as when there’s issues they start replacing every part.

My set from 2011 is still going strong. My sister's new set sends a damned alert to her phone letting her know her shits done. Because the dead silence and jingle-jangle song it plays aren't enough. She has acknowledged the alert on her phone then left the stuff in anyways because she forgot .. What a time to be alive.

LOL - you're not referring to my washer and dryer as built-in are you?

eta - I can literally slide them out myself in less than 30 seconds each.

Nice! Looks extra built in, well done. I have seen refrigerators enclosed by Carpenters. Your set up is extra impressive.

    Another Home Depot trip.

Minor things. New toilet seat for master bathroom, new guts (flapper and lever) for said toilet, new flapper for hallway bathroom toilet, towel racks for both bathrooms, dimmer switch with motion sensor for master bathroom. Going into that bathroom at 4am and turning on 8 60w bulbs right in the face is blinding.

Nothing worth taking pictures of, but the house is ever so slowly get upgraded or fixed.

Is that register in the floor just temporary? It looks like it could be a toe killer or a foot skewer.

I thought you could only get that as plugs. You might have just cost me money and labor.

It's just in a temporary position right now, it will be put off to the side of the door and will have a flush mount tile vent installed. It will be similar to the one pictured.

Hahaha. There's 2 places in Carolina, American Turf in Creswell and Macon Turf in Hertford. You buy it by the pallet.

Yes, I didn't think you could get it like that. Only plugs like this.

Oh yeah no way you’d wanna cover 1000sf+ with plugs. Most places sell strips of it. Even Home Depot here as wel any any landscaping companies. Didn’t know it was hard to get in some places.

It was quite a while ago when we looked into it. It was a lot of work and not cheap. We just went with fescue and never looked back.

Had a bit of mishap pulling out the second bush and found out the block wall is fragile as shit... Lesson learned on that one. Luckily the neighbors are good sports about it and I'll be getting that repaired by my landscape guy.

Sod and dirt were too dry for the bobcat to scrape out so had to rent a sod cutter.

Cheap ass builder toilet tank cracked. Instead of buying a new tank, I’ll just get a new toilet for the kids bathroom. Oh well
