I don't mess with 220V. Just seems like a real good way for me to get the bejesus knocked out of me or worse. Must be nice to have some solid skills! I don't even like wiring 110V. I arm myself with a multimeter, turn off all the juice at the box and, even then, I always wonder if the Mrs. is coming along right behind me wondering why the electricity is off and turning it on LOL!

Good thing is my wife is very electrical edumicated. She designes electrical transmission/distribution projects. She would clown me if I didn’t do that job. Lol

I treat 110V the same as 230kV. Test meter live, open breaker and test, test meter on another source.

I had a 480V arc flash once back in 07’. That’s a nasty voltage. After that explosion, every day after that is a freebie from God.

Hit a sprinkler head with the mower on Friday that did not retract. Had to dig down to replace the whole assembly. 1 inch of dirt and 9 inches of rock/gravel soil. 2 hours and a $4 sprinkler head assembly and the sprinkler system works again.

Still gotta door the kitchen floor and replace the patio door and paint 2 rooms in 5 days until they come take pics and list it on the 22nd!!:annoyed:

Yes it can get quite messy plus it takes like 2 days and 1hr long showers just to get the grout all off your skin!!

Landscaping and home maintenance - decided this was the year we'd finally get to the outside of the house. Built some flower beds with 100+ year-old Thurber Bricks and then stair-stepped it down with some more antique Ferris Houston bricks. Spent yesterday crawling around the house with a caulk gun, sealing cracks. Tomorrow is priming and painting. SoHeiCijT7uBAS2hJphsbQ.jpg

I feel that pain. We had some touch up on the shed we painted this weekend, today was the lowest chance of rain this week so my wife hit those spots. Two hours later downpours. And still raining

Not really home improvement. But I fired the gardener and started mowing my own damn lawn. I do a better job anyways. Are used to have a small route when I was between 10 and 15 years old. Used to edge and mow people’s lawns for $10 LOL. These were small lots at least.

My current front and back lawns are very small. Bought a cheap mower, revived and old two-stroke 1998 Ryobi Weedwhacker and bought a blower attachment for it. More $$ for mods:yes:
