What Headers to get

Thinking about getting headers. What brand is the best and should I get long tube headers or short ones and why?

 

I would get long tubes, because they perform better. Shorties will only leave you wishing you installed long tubes.
I would like to know if a tune is necessary when installing headers.

Anyone here use American Racing Headers (TUN-10134300DCWC) - 3/4 cause I wont need 7/8? Curious on the fit?

I think JBA's are now made in Mexico (not sure).

 

Get long tubes, or keep stock manifolds. Shorties lose low end torque and have zero gains in Hp.

Many threads on this topic with each landing at the same result. Get the brand that works for your budget and goal. The power difference in Long Tube brands for our truck is minimal and primary importance more depends on material/quality for use and your area. I personally run ARH and no complaints a year later since install.
