Hauled these 2 outhouses about 300 miles the other day. They are 1000lb each and my trailer is 3000lb empty.
I got 14mpg empty on the way down doing between 65 and 70mph. On the way back loaded i got 11.5mpg going 65mph the whole way. It towed great and i stuck with tow haul as this load is right on the threshold for tow haul +. I have timbrens in the rear so there was no sag.

IMG_7313.HEIC.jpg Used my Platinum to tow our 5500 pound camper conversion from Colorado to northern Montana and back. Same trip was a challenge for 2018 Tacoma but the Tundra didn’t even know it was there!

Pulls 5000#TT strong and steady. One great thing: auto-brake for hitching... put it in park and it doesn't move. Annoyance: if I run with it in Tow Haul mode for the TT, why cant it just remember that when I next start it with the trailer connected?

And I pull rafts, 'cuz that means rivers...

    Ya agreed on that one,

hey Toyota, you read these supposedly,

keep the damn tow haul mode on and not cycle to off on the restart

everytime you fill up or whatever you have to turn it back on again

we are big enough boys to decide when we want it off or on, we promise mothership :p

...unless the trailer is no longer connected.

Yes, gas stations. That's exactly what I am talking about.

I use it for my business almost daily. Only a 8X9 trailer at about 3,500 lbs. It’s not very noticeable at all. After the level kit it sits almost level with it on. I do like that you can program different trailers and select which one you have on.

Can’t claim the house. It is beautiful and belongs to the folks we were staying with. It does come with a nice flat spot to park the camper with electricity and water.

I picked up nearly a ton of wood flooring for a home project yesterday. If I did this on a regular basis I would definitely look into a load leveling system.

Sled in the truck bed last week. 6.5 bed fit the longer track Skidoo Backcountry just fine.

IMG_2328.jpg I hauled this a few weeks ago with a 1965 Chevy II Nova SS V8 car inside. Tool box and generator up front, dropped the rear of my 22 Limited 2.5" with WDB's on. I wish I had taken a pic of the two together. Tundra pulled like a dream, coming from a 2004 bulletproofed 6.0 Powerstroke Excursion. The ride was more feeling of the road than the EX, but taking off from a stop was no difference. This truck rolls down the road, loaded or not !

I haul a utility trailer or dump trailer seven days a week. Upgraded the springs in the back and it’s been absolutely perfect. I’m very happy with performance and fuel consumption.

If you have the squats and don't want to change out the suspension, I would suggest Timbren SES bump stops. Easiest mod you can make without a jack.

This is only picture I have and I don't even think it's hooked but I promise it's all mine.

Have a 2024 Platinum Hybrid, 6.5 bed, TRD option. Stiffer shocks ride better in general and to me help towing stability. We have a 23ft boat, dual axel, #7,980 with full gas tank on the CAT scales. Tows great on the HW. Trans temp comes up some but not worrisome. Has plenty of torque and HP both on the boat ramp and HW drive. Including the trailer tounge and swim platform whole rig is just under 50 ft.

there is a story behind this car. My neighbor of 20 years entrusted this car to me through his will. I spent a lot of time with him his last 6 months as I became unemployed and went into retirement. He know my plans for this car as we discussed it several times.

This is the real deal. Nova SS V8 283 2bbl car. VIN 118 which documents this also. Motor has never been opened in 60 years of life with 90K miles on it. Oh yeah… AZ car, rust free !

Thanks for asking, I wanted to include pics of it.

This car is super cool and I can’t wait to get out cruising in it. But… I have another classic if anyone wants to see it.

I have a 30 foot travel trailer, about 8k pounds loaded. It pulls fine. In fact, had more than enough power. The issue is the squat, but I’m looking into purchasing some airbags.

Dang, I need a rim & tire upgrade. My 2015 Limited gets looks all the time but I'm invisible in my 2025. I think a Double Cab looks much better than the Crew Cab no matter what gen.
