Haha, I actually want to get the red emblems and then put a black vinyl overlay on them to kinda match the Toyota heritage dash trim piece but I can't seem to find one that is cut to the same size. Thank you for checking for me though.

Edit: the emblems would go on the door panels where the Tundras ones are currently.

tufskinz has something like what you describe. I did not use those for the TRD in the grill, I used red. I did use them for the Tundra in the valence.20250729_190034.jpg

Found a good deal on a scratched 20” TRD rim I wanted to use for a spare. Had 2 decent BFG KO2 in 305/55R20, & used 1 of them for this project. It’s about a 33.5” tire, maybe 1/2” to 3/4” taller than OE spare size. It went in pretty easy into the spare tire well. I have more than 2 finger clearance between the receiver hitch & tire, & same 2 fingers between tire & Panhard Bar. The tire also snug fit in front of the 2 factory spare tire guides in front of the Panhard. With the spare on the ground, when I chain lifted the spare up, the rear of the truck came down an inch before lifting the weight of the tire/rim. The new spare tire/rim combo was at least 50% heavier than the OE spare. As mentioned in other posts, the spare by no means is centered between the frame rails - very offset to passenger side.

Added 7 more (13total) stage series rock lights, to hopefully smooth out the light a bit. It’s bright out so photos tomorrow. Debating between Amber and white lenses, leaning towards Amber.

Well I had a funny turn of events today... Maybe not ha-ha funny but hopefully will shed light for anyone considering this.

I ordered this front valance piece for my front bumper since the dealer graciously drilled holes through it for the license plate (old drilled piece shown below on the truck currently).

Upon inspecting the brand new piece, from the factory there are still dimples there as starter holes I'm sure to guide anyone that wants to drill the front bumper. Now I feel like at a short distance, it doesn't really look that different since both old and new still have blemish spots on a smooth surface.

Is it technically better than literal holes drilled? Yes. Was it worth over $100 for the new part that still has partial holes? I'll let you decide if you were thinking about it.

I'd return it and put the $100 toward this instead: (don't have to get the recovery hooks) https://www.tundras.com/threads/toyota-oem-trd-front-recovery-hooks.150783/

I specifically asked them not to install the front bracket for this reason. No front plate in Utah.

Purchased the OEM bed step, the fitment sucked honestly, not what I expected from an OEM part. When closed, it was touching the painted bumper. Found a very easy solution for those of you looking to put a gap between your OEM step and the bumper. There is a little rubber stopper in the arms that hold the step. Hit your local hardware store and get a larger one. Problem solver. And as a bonus, with the increased gap, it's way easier to bring it down with your foot. 20250801_122536.jpg

Guess I got lucky. My dealer said they only put them on if the customer asks. It was in a bag in the back seat

Yeah, I hate that. No front plates in FL either. Although, the govt keeps talking about going that way.

Interesting. Utah got rid of the front plate January 1st. The reason the legislature cited was "mass non-compliance". I'm assuming it was a money grab. a 50% decrease in plate manufacturing had to save someone money.

However, I have been driving for 20 years now and I have never run a front plate nor have I ever had a cop say anything.

Any pics of the rubber stopper or what part of the hardware store I'll find that piece in?

I got stopped in Ohio for it once. I had recently moved there and didn’t realize there was a front plate requirement. The plate(s) I received were very thin and stuck together. I unwittingly installed on the rear. I explained that I only received the one plate. He went around back and checked it out, but never said anything about two plates being there, he just wrote me a warning.

Not today, but I did this about a week ago.

    OEM grill and amber lights.
Yota expeditions led harness and camera bracket.

I did the cliche internet thing and lost my 10mm socket. I could not find where it fell for the life of me. Ive never lost a socket in an engine bay before. I didn't have a lot of time to look before the truck got driven. Good chance it's on the road now.

    PXL_20250731_024148107.jpg

I love the grill. I think Toyota should have included it on the rally package from the factory. I suspect they didn't because of the cost of the led bar. Running barless for now.

I've noticed the second T is pulling away from the grill. Looks like it's adhesive backed. Anyone else run into this?

installed a rough country soft roll up cover. For the money, I’m willing to give it a shot. Wanted to get something that didn’t take up any bed space but also didn’t wanna lose Had to modify the mounts and get some new hardware to get around my molle panels, but it turned out great!

I finally got around to replacing the front dash center speaker. Several months ago I replaced the front dash corner speakers with some Kenwood coax speakers but left the OEM center speaker in place. With the upgraded center speaker the difference is subtle but noticeable.

I'm now really pleased with the sound of my audio (9-speaker non-JBL system) and I am finished modding it.

My mods are: 3x Kenwood eXcelon DFC-X3C 2-way speakers in the dash and the BeatSonic in dash Amp/DSP. I find the door speakers fine and they produce a surprising amount of bass. The mid and high tones are much improved by the Amp and the Kenwood's.

My original post (with pictures) can be found here: https://www.tundras.com/threads/wha...gen-tundra-today.104778/page-254#post-3750781

Got some mud on the tires today on the right of way trail near the house after the rifle range. Truck did so much better than the fF150.
35”s made a big difference in dips and drop offs.

Just minor stuff. For example, Undercover bed cover, Tufskinz custom door sill protectors, and TRD air filters.
I would like to know more about your Banks pedal monster and iDash pro w/ pod mount. Have been thinking about those myself.
