Bulletpoint is on Am*zon. I think most stuff ships free if you order it there. I ordered my adapter ball for my existing charger from them on there

Pretty sure the exact opposite is true.
Typically Toyota uses a separate signal for directional and brake at the taillight.
And all trailer wiring uses a "flashing brake signal" ... which will make your 3rd brake light blink.
Tap into the tail light brake feed. Also, use an inline 5A fuse after where you tap to protect the truck circuitry should their ever be a short in the cap (shell) wiring.

Which mount did you purchase from Bulletpoint to attach the dash cam to the connector arm?

I bought their "Quick-Adjust Bar Clamp Mount with 20mm Connector End Nubby" to attach to their "AMPS Compatible 20mm Ball Metal Mounting Plate".

Bulletproof offers free shipping for US orders that are $75 or more. They also offer discounts for new accounts (10%) and for military vets (15%) but you can only use one discount per transaction.

Rear wheel well liners installed. Fitcamx
Dash cam arrived for the front and rear. Might get a chance after the kiddos go to bed to install.

so stupid new trucks don’t come with rear wheel well liners these days…

Literally takes like 2 mins per side, super simple install.ya need a 10 mm and plastic rivet pop tool or a flat head.

IMG_0047.jpg IMG_0048.jpg IMG_0045.jpg IMG_0028.jpg Upgraded my JBL sound system to add more punch. Bought this Beatsonic enhancing plug and play amplifier. Install was about an hour and upgraded the sound tremendously. The stock JBL on the limited was good it lacked the mid tone and treble for that surround sound feel. It’s a small unit and hides internally behind the head unit. There’s tons of videos on install.

For future reference, you can install or uninstall it without taking out the radio. Just pop up the tray above it.

Yes. You are right! The space was tight and I was sweating my balls off since I’m in Nevada so I decided to take off the whole unit to make it easier. Lol!

Does the camera hook up to the 12v lighter on the dash or did you wire to a usb?

Great to hear! I ended up with bulletpoint's 2mm extension tube for the dashcam mount. I also went with the 4k front with 2K rear Miofive using a 2 inch drop mount from the headliner to avoid the roll down window.

rear liners done and dash cam installed, took longer to hide the cords then to install it.
So clean and flush looks oem. Decided to mount the back camera lower. Perfect spot on the middle seat belt bracket. Rear window still goes up and down.

hard to see from the outside since the windshield is tinted but it fits perfect, can’t even tell it’s there.

got the drill free licence plate holder coming for the front and ordered some cup grippers that are recommended on here. Only thing I got left that I want to do is meso interior lights when they come back in stock. Freaking loving this truck. Ceramic is all cured so hope to get some outside pics this weekend.

Did you use anything special to mount the rear camera on the seat belt bracket? I will be installing the same camera sometime this next week. Thanks!

Nope just the supplied 3m. If it doesn’t stick with the extreme heat down here I will glue a magnet to the camera base then slide one under that rear plastic.

I had to use magnets on the wife’s gx550 since it’s mounted up high with the way the windows and trunk is. The 3m wouldn’t stick to the curved plastic. 2 magnets later it hasn’t moved in 2 months of me installing it.

you should be fine though. One piece of advice, start at the front and run the cables back, wayyyy more room to hide the spare wire behind the back seat plastic compared to the reviews and head liner.

Perfect. Thank you. I installed the FITCAMX in my daughter’s RAV4 XSE a couple months back, so somewhat familiar with the overall install. Many thanks!

They are expensive, made over seas of course, but the quality is top notch. App isn’t glitchy and the install is seamless. No using a 12 cig lighter or anything. All the wires are hidden and it’s oem flush install. I’ve switched all our vehicles to them. Highly recommend them.

If you go the Fitcamx route, consider the "Sienna" cable for always-available power.

I ripped out the headliner. Going for a full black interior swap and sound deadening the roof while I’m in there.

Have all the pieces ready to go, just waiting on temps to go down a bit today. Sourced the black parts from a mix of local dealer parts store and eBay for ~700. Material was ~50 bucks for oem-ish pattern. I didn’t want suede cause I don’t want to change the pattern too much so hope it comes out ok lol
