If you put the weatherstripping that’s provided it does not leak, there were gaps before I put them in. I also put the extra clamps from e trailer so I don’t know if that made it more watertight. For not spending $1k or more this seems like the best of both worlds for cost and use.

TRD Pro got her tint and PowerTraxOne MX electric tonneau cover on, 35 on windshield and 20 on front 2 windows to match the rear…came out exactly how I wanted it!…love that electric cover, so easy/convenient to open/close with push of a button…ya, I’m lazy

I love the retrax powered version but I don't want to carry a 2nd fob. I wish it was like the Rivian where if you unlock the truck you could use a button on the exterior rail.

Yea I don’t carry the fobs myself, I’ve had the power covers on my last 3 tundras…I mount one fob up under cover so if I’m at tailgate I can open/close cover there, and the 2nd fob gets mounted in cab by steering wheel so I can open/close while I’m in truck if needed

first full week of ownership. Did full 20% ceramic tint, tailgate lettering, door handle overlays and some blacking out of emblems with HyperDip. I also did full on ceramic graphene coating (which was a long process) but well worth it so far.

Next up is black tailgate handle ordered from yota and swapping front grill and matching mustache and dechroming further.
predator steps ordered but they are back ordered.

it actually fits my truck great, and looks the part, especially considering this is the “Texas” off-road edition, the place where deer guards were originated… it’s also highly functional, unlike a hood badge from a different motor/ trim to look cool… so stupid argument and invalid points and thanks for playing.

How have these held up over time? I was on the fence about getting a powered one, and opted for a tri-fold because I was concerned the tracks would get dirty and stop functioning after a year or something. Is that actually much of a concern?

I was trying to break up some of the silver trim in the interior. I found this topographic map vinyl online. I might do some of the other trim on the door. Not 100% if I like it. I was bored haha

Same, I am just debating buying some cheap-o ones on Amazon. They aren't locking is the only issue but honestly, I don't know how much of an issue that is.

For the 20" oem, absolutely. Been eyeing them since I saw the first pics of the TRD sport. The grey platinum rims are too similar for my taste to MGM and these are black + oem so win win. I've seen black powder coated platinum rims on ebay and those would've been a good option too.

Had my new Retrax MX installed on my 1794 Wednesday - little morning dew and tremendous fit and finish - highly recommend.

How much bed space do you lose in the front and side to side? Side to side, it looks like you lose very little.

Sparks has new mustaches pieces that they send out for oem paint. Not cheap. I would like to paint my silver ‘stash super white to match like a trd sport. I already ordered the bumper panels.

is that smoked mesquite? Hard to tell from the pics. But if it is I am curious to see how the emblems turn out. Are you going to do the window trim as well?

I have a smoked mesquite hybrid coming later this month. Can't wait and will be interested to see how you modify as I will be in the same boat. Looking good so far!

Looks great, thanks for sharing! Was there any extra hardware other than the wiring harness needed? That's exactly where I'm thinking of putting my ambers.
