you will benefit from tinting all windows... preferably ceramic. factory tint as in tinted glass is way inferior to a quality film. plus you protect interior.

Factory "tint" does absolutely nothing for heat rejection or saving your interior.
Ceramic is the way to go.

I’ve put tint on every car I own. And all of them have the windshield done. Ceramic sounds nice but it is expensive!! Especially if the windshield gets a knick and needs replaced. I still put up a sun shield regardless.

Was more curious to those that state ceramic all around - like are they adding a light film to the already factory tinted windows? To each their own and appreciate the feedback!

 

I would guess it's on purpose to prevent something from jamming in when moving.

 

And now they offer a protective film for the front!!!

 

Eventually they are just going to dip the entire vehicle in a vat of liquid liquid film.

 

Will I find that next to the gaseous liquid film or the solid liquid film?

Well when the garage decided to jump out in front of the driver side mirror, I figured it was time for an upgrade. Though the chrome cap was unharmed, the rest of the assembly took a beating.

 

And then people could choose what color that liquid film would be!

 

Hi Dave, sorry to hear about your truck’s engine. At least it looks great! Any chance you’re running a skid plate with that sway bar drop? I have a sway bar drop on mine from my king setup and haven’t mounted my CBI full skid yet, but I imagine I’ll just have to put spacers between the skid plate and the frame to account for the sway bar drop.

 

Wondered at the growth from 1967 to 2025. My, my, to go from an air cooled two cylinder 700 cc boxer with 28 hp to a twin turbocharged 3.4 liter V6 with a bit more power than that!

Installed a Lomax Tonneau cover, Black Armor bed mat, the Spigen Matt glass screen protector , JDMCAR console piece over the gloss, and a couple of Cup Grips.

Spigen is a must have, improves the screen 10 fold by getting rid of glare

I wish someone made a complete replacement trim for the center console to get rid of the piano black. I clean it, and 10 seconds later, dust ball. And dont dare touch it, scratches just looking at it.

ProTech makes a clear film that goes over the piano black, makes it look new with no scratches visible and looks clean all the time.

 

BFG AT KO2. The lift is a 3/1" level from readylift. I need to figure out how to fix my wheel articulation though, turning is awful after the change.

 

Anyone know if there is a protective film for just the speedo area? I already applied the 14” screen cover a couple years ago. But have not been able to find just the speedo (only found in packages with 14”screen)

What method did you go for the mustache? I’m debating between ordering a whole new one through oempaintedparts or just doing the bumpershellz. Wrapping it isn’t an option because I can’t find lunar rock vinyl anywhere.

Fabricated a fuse block bracket and mounted a Blue Seas 6 circuit fuse and 100amp breaker/ master cut off switch. I didn't feel like paying $70 - $130 for a piece of bent plate steel so I bought an $11 1ftx1ft 28 gauge steel from HD and cut it out with an angle grinder, bent it like origami in a vise, painted it with high temp spray paint, and drilled all the necessary holes. I had a 4 prong relay bracket laying around and bolted that on. Used some RTV black silicone sealant to seal the holes I drilled in the fuse box lid to mount the bracket. This was a $50 project
