Pull out your front seats and use the leftover on the floor. A bit more involved but worth it. I also added Dynapad to mine and it’s so much quieter.

If you do the floor, I wouldn’t recommend the Dynapad. Functionally it works well but it was hard to get everything back together. I had to modify the kick panels slightly to get them to fit. I believe the Dynapad is about 5/8” thick. If I did it again I would use sound skins or the Resonix product.

 

Finally picked up my GFC. Pretty happy with it so far.

 

Do you want to sell the OEM shifter knob? I removed mine incorrectly when installing larger cup holders and the retaining pin popped out.........

 

Do you still have your Leitner? I'm curious if there's been any issue

 

Today I dropped it off at the shop, on the list: TRD axles, ICON upper control arms, ICON coil overs (front), ICON shocks (rear), Dobinson springs (rear), and new wheels and tires. I've been waiting to do this since May of last year when I was originally going to do the TRD 3" lift.

Installed the Heritage grill.

 

Installed factory color matched side view mirror covers

 

Added a 2 channel dashcam. For now powdered from the front usb port. Going either 12v tap or dome light or even fuse tap for parking mode.
Dash cam is VIOFO 229 plus. Ran the power wire to the right , under the dash, footwell and usb port. The rear camera to the left , A pillar , plastic trim by the doors, up the C pillar and by the rear window weather strip.

Dropped off the Tundra yesterday for the new engine. They told me it should be done by Saturday.

They gave me the Taco as a loaner. This thing is not built for anybody over 6ft haha.

 

Dropped off my truck to get the engine replaced, as well as getting some other little things looked at, and they gave me a ‘24 4Runner as a loaner. I’ve been a passenger in one before, but never driven one. Wish they gave me a new one so I could drive the new power train. I miss my truck already - this thing is gutless and gets the same mileage as my truck on e-load 35s lol.

I was offered a Taco or a Tundra...took the Tundra. Wife wanted me to get the Taco but I've sat in the prior gen and figured it was just as bad....she's 5'1 so it would fit her perfectly. lol

 

decided I didn't like the $129 GST non-optional "option" black tailgate inserts. came off so easily it's like they didn't want to be on there.

 

Ordered and installed some Tuxmat mats for my 1794 Limited Edition. The provided Velcro clips and slide in clips really made for a nice, tight install. The mats that came with the truck are nice because they have the 1794 LE branding on them put they never covered all the carpet and plastic like these do. Very happy with them so far!

They are oem for the 1794 limited edition, includes the seat back saddle style bags

I parked along side an LE and got to chat with the owner and look over the truck. I like what they did with it, from the door emblems being unique to the interior.

 

Use a dongle. Can plug it to the oem plug in the roof.
