So I'd guess that it just snaps in? No cutting at all involved?

No, it came with a little sticky pad for the windshield. I turned it upside down (you can change the orientation in the cam settings) and mounted the sticky pad to the extra ball mount I got from Bulletpoint. I used the sticky part and some of the extra screw hardware Bulletpoint gives you. It's tight and sturdy.

No cutting as far as the valance goes. The air dam does need to be trimmed though

Found the rear tire missing 20psi Pretty descent sized nail, easy find using the magnet. I always cringe when anyone has to remove tire from rim, dont want any scratches.IMG_6261.jpg

Could not find this question anywhere on the forum, so I'll ask here: Does any supplier make / sell a stainless steel, locking fuel door for the gen 3?

Not interested in a locking cap or a door made of anything but stainless.

Thanks in advance for any help or direction.

Spent most of the weekend finalizing the lightbar wiring harness routing and switch install to my satisfaction. Went to check function and see this!!!:mad::mad: It's on the cord entry end and I wonder if the cord gland nut needs tightening? I did switch the lenses from amber to clear because the vendor I purchased from didn't have clear in stock at the time. I was very careful and all the screws are tight....I don't think the lens gaskets are the source, especially since the moisture is only at that one end. I didn't know at the time, but I just read tonight on the DD website that if you replace lenses yourself, you have to send the entire lightbar into the factory for warranty repair instead of replacement swap. I know I am NOT taking the whole front-end off again to deal with this...I *think* I can unbolt the grille shutter assembly and shift if back enough to get in there to deal with the lightbar. :fingerscrossed:

Today I installed the welcome lights on the front doors from scratch.

I have a 23 tundra with no wiring to the welcome light so this took a while to compete lol.

    here is a pic:

so I was already installing some speaker wire to place a tweeter on the a-pillar. So I took advantage and ran a cable from the door to the door sensor.

Hardest part was figuring out how to do it while keeping everything stock and not cutting any trim.

Started at the door and ran a ground cable through a grommet, (I’ll post a pic at the end) to the door harness, took the door harness off and it has 2 empty slots where the cables fit perfectly. Then found a hole into the cabin. Ran the cable to the sensor and spliced into it (green cable) easiest thing to do here is to remove the sensor and then the clip that holds the wire splice and reconnects the wire is very thin maybe 20 gauge so careful

For positive i spliced on a constant 12v at the window control look for a blue wire in the middle of the clip

yeah the ajt design i am not fond of. the squares detract from the clean look. the Amazon one fits the north/south cup holder and looks cleaner.

yota xpedition has them for $40 but you can find this exact one on amazon for $20

ymmv for sqaure or clean look

I went the Amazon route as I despised the gloss black around the shifter. Was thinking it would be temporary, but turned out great. Nice to have options.

Are the AJT ones metal? They list them as if they are the same material as their knobs. If thats the case, I’m in, the knobs are spot on!

I think ajt has both? I want to do the cup holder downgrade on my platinum but I hate that part of the ajt. I need to figure out how to confirm that I don't have to use that part.

The one I linked is an overlay, not sure about the AJT one. AJT stuff is good though, I had one of their keyfobs for my Tacoma last a really long time.

The AJT ones are plastic molded. Just got mine. Quality looks amazing I will be installing this weekend.
