I'm in Chandler so thats not far. I just ordered the TRD Pro billet UCAs from Serra Toyota of Decatur Alabama.. paid $244 for each with their discounts and free shipping. Compared to Big Two Toyota in Gilbert... quoted me $441 for each with local pickup.

Yeah Big Two isn't great... Talk to Chad at the AutoNation parts desk and mention AZTG and he'll get you set up with stuff. I'm working on a list of parts with him right now for the wife's rig.

Thanks for the recommendation! I called and spoke to him.. He is on par with what I can find online so that will be my new local source going forward. However, the Alabama dealer is running an October sale and I was able to save an extra 20% on the UCAs.

Glad to hear! He's usually right there on prices, but some sales prices are too low. I use him for all my regular maintenance parts on the 2018.

ARB twins with SDHQ behind rear seat mount. Routed the switch and air output to the bed. It was a fun install, ridiculously pricey just for air but oh well.

Replaced the crappy non-JBL 9 speaker system dash corner speakers with some Kenwood eXcelon DFC-X3C coaxial speakers. It's amazing how weak the factory speakers are, they are rated 10W at 8Ω. The Kenwoods are rated 50W RMS/120W peak at 4Ω. I order a pair of harnesses to make installation easy as I would have to otherwise tapped into the very short factory harness in the very corner of the window (Yikes).

Here's a pic of the new verses factory speaker. What you can't see in this pic is that the magnet on the Kenwood is about 3 times larger on the back of the speaker.
    https://ibb.co/26HtX7V
    [IMG]

I bought this particular speaker because I read in the Audio/Video forum that it fits perfectly in a 2022+ Tundra. Well, that wasn't the case and although the speaker fit the space the bracket was too short and the holes for the mounting screws were about 1/2" off on each side. I fixed this issue by firing up my 3D printer and making a set of bracket extensions for each speaker. Just had to cut the end of the Kenwood bracket to keep it from blocking the new hole locations.
    https://ibb.co/1dWh1Gz

Although it took quite a bit longer than expected to do the install as I had to design and print the bracket adapters I'm overall very pleased with these speakers. Much more clarity in the high end and mid range of the audio spectrum. It also seems to have boosted the output of the door woofer speakers. I had to adjust back the bass a little. It seems the impedance difference in the corner speakers caused the other speakers to get louder. I still need to either replace or disconnect the center dash speaker as it is still factory and seems to be the exact same speaker that was in the corners. So it looks like the factory non-JBL Tundra 9-speaker system has 3 mid-range speakers in dash and no tweeters.

I installed my ARB the same as yours but all self contained and would like to finish setting it up like yours. Do you have a list of what items you used? Thanks.

Started operation inside tailgate drop. After 3 months on back order, I got the button from the new Tacoma for interior tailgate release. Found out which slot it fits in (also has same plug and apparently wired for the backlit LEDs although those are in white). Anyone know what went I to that slot initially? Was it the folding mirrors? Had to be something with a momentary on based on how it’s wired.

Will need to swap the white LED for a blue one and figure out where in the interior I can tap into for the tailgate release trigger. I tested everything outside the truck by tapping into the tailgate button and it works with the door closed so it should hopefully work out inside.
Just need to decipher the ultimate wiring diagram a bit because I really don’t want to run a harness from the inside to outside of the vehicle.

I know I had seen it somewhere in this thread, but can't find it. Has anyone messed with aftermarket tail lights that are supposed to be sequential, but aren't? I have tried two different "plug-and-play" sets that end up not being sequential. One from Amazon, and one from VLAND. Is there a harness that needs to be added?

These are the VLAND. Also this morning they started doing the fast blinking, as if a bulb is out. Frustrating.

So, he queried curiously, how did you apply heat to the shrink in that little space. With my luck, I’d melt the whole thing.
