Is that price inclusive of professional installation OR is that only the price for the set?

Dude that was a pain in the ass. I had such a hard time getting the connector to click as well. But I got it.

Ordered TRD skid plate, RCI off-road transmission skid plate and cat guard yesterday afternoon. TRD skid plate came in to dealer this morning. Went to pick it up and install the TRD skid plate as soon as I got home. Just waiting on RCI now. :D

Just finished my VERY IMPORTANT MODIFICATION…

At least it’s starting to look like my truck. I’m working on a simple decal install video. 0F9A36AE-107E-4965-9B20-3B3B3AE01ADD.jpg6AC64E30-A780-4D74-80E4-9D76A9B6B6A3.jpg DCE4DD8C-2BA2-4E90-86D1-E03E4AEA66E9.jpg

It was either a overland setup or another toy. 300lbs in the back and truck still sits nice and mostly level.
Time to trek it back up to Seattle. Picked it up in Beaverton, OR

You have the Westcott 3/1 lift right?

How long are your ramps? I have 8ft arch ramps and wander if raising the rear an extra inch will make the ramp too angled.

I just have the front level from westcott. So about a 2 1/4" in the front. Stock rear. Ramp is 6 ft. Here is the ramp i have.

    https://www.stepramp.com/product/sr-b5-5-step-ramp/

It fits really good and even when i go to the full 3/1 later this year, the 6ft should still work out. Its not too steep, since your ramps are longer i think you'll be completely fine.

So I was able to install the Rough Country hard tri-fold tonneau cover with the BillieBars. There was some cutting / modification needed to be done to the cover mounting rails, in addition to some weatherstripping.

LOL, if only there was a sticker for that!

No, actually the stickers on the visors were the roll over risk and air bag ones.

Really!?! Good to know! I might have to do the same! But last time I was driving and got the glare, it was coming from the indention part of the hood, right on the outside of the sticker instead?

Silly question, but do they just pull off? I kinda picked at one, but it didn't seem to budge so I let it be.

I used a hair dryer to heat up the stickers to loosen up the adhesive. Make sure the entire sticker is evenly heated, pick at a corner and remove sticker in one move, don’t pause. 30 to 60 seconds on high heat should do it. I didn’t heat up 2 of them evenly enough and had left over residue that was a pain to clean off. The sunshade fabric will stretch but will go back when it cools down.

Nice. I spoke to BillieBars via email not long after our original thread conversation. The Toyota tri-fold cover relocates the factory cargo rails whereas other manufacturers do not. I believe Toyota designed it this way so that you retain full use of your cargo rails and aren't impeded by other items inside the rail.

BillieBars mentioned they have a couple of employees that run their bars with the OEM cover, but it requires a fair bit of modification. Not just to the mounting rails and weatherstripping, as you experienced, but you have to relocate the relocation brackets by utilizing custom spacer pieces & longer bolts.

They provided the attached walk-through of relocating the rails. It's not too bad. Hard part for me is sourcing the additional hardware/spacers & fasteners. I'll probably have to use McMaster.com for that since all I have locally is a Home Depot. I'm going to wait to see what design Voodoo Bars comes up with. They're going to try and minimize the need to relocate the cargo rails a second time and have sent out a test bracket to another Tundra owner who also has the OEM cover.

More to come. Bars are on my list of mods since my wife & I want to do a RTT eventually. Bigger priority is getting a front winch bumper with recovery points. If I can sell my old wheels & tires, I plan on preordering the CBI low-pro bumper.
