I have Nitton Recon 35/11.50/20 with no rub-that's when I had installed. Full wheel lock-nothing. I did pin back the liner but it wasn't hitting-just saw what others were doing and it was easy. Since I have installed 1"spacers for a wider stance (no rub again) and installed the mud flaps. With these on there is not alot of room. I use my truck off road during hunting season and still no issues.

 

BTW-no lift. Stock suspension with AVS/bags on the Platinum. Ordered Westcott but cancelled the order-didn't think i needed it and wanted to make sure it went into garage

 

The heritage grille is the superior grille. I'd like to get one for my truck.

 

If you change your mind I have the 2" readylift front with the rear Westcott arms for sale for cheaper than you can buy them.

Not sure what you mean by Heritage Grille. That's the TRD Pro Grille, or are they just the same thing with different names. I just hadn't heard it called the Heritage Grille before, but I do agree it's the nicest looking one out there.

What's your wheel/tire size combo and offset? Looks great!!

You took the words out of my mouth. I've been on the fence for a while now, and have decided to pull the trigger, especially now that I've got new wheels on the way with a +1MM offset.

Anyone know if you can use a mudflap in combination with these? I know they're likely not needed, but curious to know if they'll fit. From what I read about installation on them, I don't think it's possible.

Educate me on using catalytic converter shields for theft prevention of catalytic converters.

Don't the thieves use a Sawzall to quickly cut the catalytic converters free? I'm thinking an aluminum or SS shield would only slow them by the few seconds it would take to cut thru the shield then the converter? What am I missing here?

 

Sweet! My +1 will give me about 0.7" more poke, but I'm thinking with those flares it should still look good.

I've got some Fuel Catalyst 20x9 +1 on the way. Going to run the 275/65/20 Recon Grapplers which is just over 34". Can't wait to get the wheels here.

 

it would actually take them quite a bit longer. Although not hard to cut through it results in a lot more cutting/time. Thieves want to be quick. Generally they’ll see it and go to another truck, unless you’re somewhere rural where they know they have time.

In 11 years, working areas where cat thefts were prevalent I’ve yet to see a file where a cat was stolen where there was a shield.

 

TRD Pro is a new concept. It’s called a heritage grille because iconic Toyotas dating way back used the Toyota lettering grille

 

20" look great if done right. I ordered 285/65R20 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT with TRD 3" lift. I will post pics when I get the truck. I'm dropping it off this Tuesday. Celestial Silver Limited.

Added the Beat Sonic plug and play mini amp to the average sounding JBL system.
This thing does not disappoint and a truly simple install. Sound is so much crisper and the bass thumps pretty good and now I don’t need to crank the volume to 55!
Thanks to all on the forum for their recommendations.Easily the most bang for the buck I have spent on a mod so far and Beat Sonic had a 15% off cyber sale to boot!

 

Took her work yesterday. Loaded down with tools and materials. Was a little disappointed with the reduced size of pretty much everything inside and out. The rest of the ride was great. Went Christmas tree hunting in the mountains today. Tested out the new off road features and was very impressed. Seemed to lack a little suspension travel but everything else was awesome!
