Swapped from the Black Oval step bars to the Predator step bars. Found a good deal locally on a gently used set.

I also swapped out the rear bumper covers. Originally, the truck came with silver-ish ones, and I hated those. I swapped them out for a set of black ones I got from Sparks. They were ok, but not exactly what I wanted, so I did a DIY color match (details in my build thread below) along with the door handles and tailgate handle (not yet installed, as I have to re-clear it), and installed those today.

    Original Silver:

    Black inserts from Sparks:

DIY Color Matched. They are a slight shade off from factory, but not as much as the picture shows. The rest of the truck is dirty due to the obvious rain.

And lastly, I wasn't happy with the bed step rubbing up on the underside of the bumper, so I added 1/4" of space. Now it doesn't hit at all. Details in my build thread.

Did you paint the black ones or did you paint the silver ones? If you have the blacks still I'd buy them.

I have the Talons cat cover and was thinking about getting the TRD skid. Did it mount with the Talons or did you need any other bolts or adapters?
    Thank you!

You don't need to buy any other bolts or adapters. The Talons cat protector comes with 3 long Allen head capscrew bolts with nyloc locking nuts and 6 flat washers and two shorter bolts with 2 flat washers. The 3 long bolts, nuts and washers are used to secure the cat protector through the truck crossmembers. The shorter bolts are used to secure the TRD skid plate that rests up against the cat protector on the rear-most mounting locations of the aluminum skid plate and front holes on the cat protector. There are 4 other factory attachment bolts that you will reuse that mount in the same locations when you remove them from the existing plastic skid plate to install the aluminum skid plate. I applied Neversieze to all the Talons bolts. Hope this makes sense.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. I already have the Talons cat cover on so it should be pretty quick and easy to attach the TRD plate. I was thinking of the Talons skid but I like the TRD one better.
Thanks again! Have a good weekend.

Installed caliper covers from Rough County last night, the fronts needed a bit of modification due to the tight tolerance of the rim and caliper but all in all I like them.

    Thanks Hunter1699 for the recommendation.

With shipping it was $180. It's pretty simple the rear covers just slip on and tighten one screw the front ya need to remove the inner/ lower curved cup part and tighten a screw I definitely don’t belong in a Pit crew but it took just about a 1/2 hour.

Plugged in the Carista: removed the fake engine noise, back seatbelt dings from child car seats, and lowered the A/C temp.

I also synced the new TPMS sensors by following the instructions in the owners manual(gasp!) and it worked perfectly.

What does the lower A/C temp setting do exactly?

Please forgive me if this sounds like I’m being a smartass, but it lowers the A/C temp at the selected temp setting.

It doesn't technically lower the temp. The temp blows at the same whether on 65 or 70. But in auto it regulates the intensity at which it blows to keep it at set temperature in the cab. So if you typically have it on 67 and you lower it by 2 degrees C you would only need to have it at 70.
