gotcha, was thinking for the TRD pro light at insert as well!

Color match the flares and slap them back on, looks super mean with a bumper

I didn’t document much for the bumper install but here’s one more picture. I’ll take more once this smoke subsided. The overall build is pretty extensive and I need to put it all on one sheet. You’re more than welcome to cruise through my posts for the progress.

I like the body cut angle for that bumper, looks really good vs C4, lil b's CBI, etc

I do like that little angle bit it leaves before the two bumpers meet. Either way, these trucks are night and day with the front end tucked

Was there something wrong with them? Or wasn't the look you were going for?

Nope nothing wrong with them. Just got reunited with the flareless truck during the project and decided to keep them off

They’re great flares and flow well with the body lines.

Finally got my Leer topper on really stoked how it turned out. Tires this summer. Leer did an excellent color matching job. And the locking with the key fob is fantastic. Inalso got the DC charging ports in the back too.

So this goes over the top of the original? How thick is it? Just trying to see how much higher it is than the hood.

Yes, goes over the original parts and is as thin as you see here. Barely noticeable.

Installed it and drove to the airport for the truck to sit until Friday night. I'll get some more seat time and can report back. For now though, sound is definitely punchier and louder.

The very first modification was to delete all the chrome (mustache and bumpers). The second mod was RetraxOne tonneau cover. This allows me to install options for bikes, ski equipment and even roof mount tent. And, secure items in the back of the truck. Wheels and tires were next, since the initial wheels and tire upgrade, I’ve increased tire size again to 34.3x11.6R18.

I just like to point out, I didn’t have any rubbing after pinning back the felt and removing the mud flaps. A week after adding the 34” tires, I lifted the front end with RC M1 coilovers. Then added color matched fender flares. In my opinion, trucks look better without the factory rake. Last but not least, I purchase Go Rhino E1 electric running boards.

Looks awesome. Have you driven it with the back widow down? I love the look of a cap and I never use the rearview camera, but love putting the back window down. Just wondering how it affects the airflow.

Not a huge upgrade, but took silver running boards to Line-X for coating, they turned out great.
Boards now match the Diamondback cover.

Have not yet. On my old 2005 it was fairly quiet with window down with the shell.

Yes I have, and there is no change. Absolutely no turbulence. The back window is one of my most favorite things about the Tundra.

I’ve jumped on the forum because I wanted to replace my 8” head unit with an oem 14”. Unfortunately, No one has any. Has anyone tried to install the JBL in a non-JBL harness? Or is there a mod that can overcome that issue?

Looks like the S&B filters are shipping now. I wonder how it compares to the afe in terms of boost at similar rpms.

apparently it is real walnut veneer laid over the plastic, you can see it on the edges of some parts.
