Oh yeah, almost forgot. Added the switch for switching the mpg, temperature, miles to empty etc. I ordered the wrong switch. My rock warrior came with a blank where the switch goes. Got the switch that only has 1 button. Moved a wire in the harness and it worked but I can't reset the MPG. Not a big deal to me and the switch was only $30. 15.8 mpg average for 220,000 miles. Or however long ago the battery cable was unhooked. And I don't know that unhooking the battery cables would reset the MPG.

I just started this. Did you run an rca to the front? Where did you fish the wire into the cab?

There was a rubber plug on the passenger side in the rear floor board. I just made a hole in that plug by cutting a X in the center of the plug. You can easily zip tie the RCA wire to the wire loom on top of the frame from there.

My head unit has a feature I wasn't familiar with. If I hooked the rear power for the camera to a ignition source instead of reverse light power I can hit the cam button and see the rear hitch at any time. Wish I would have known that before I hooked it to the reverse power. And when the head unit sees the truck is in reverse it'll automatically switch to the camera. Oh well. Guess I can change it.

What did you do to hook up a camera back there? They sell those wireless cameras and another monitor, but I hate the idea of having another monitor, when my head unit is ready for a camera.

Well my truck was a little diferent I guess because I already had a back up camera from the factory so this added another one right at the hitch its self .But my wires from the camera where just two wires almost like rca's

@vq35721 Can you post pics once the fenders are mounted, I’m curious to see how well they line up with the front bumper valence. I know others have had to rework the valence to make the two line up. Just wondering if these fenders require the same Thanks.

This is a pic from the Total Chaos Tundra build page showing what they did to line up the valence. They are using Glassworks fenders, wondering if there is any change to the ADV design. Hopefully you don’t need to rework your tube bumper as well since it wraps around the valence. I’m Looking to possibly add fenders when I upsize my tires so I’m trying to figure everything involved to make them fit correctly

My Kenwood head unit has multiple camera inputs. I'd love to have one on the back of my camper. But I'm not big on the wireless stuff. The connection at the hitch would be my only question. I guess I'd run the RCA down near the 7way plug on the truck? Also I don't like how my camera connects for tailgate removal. I'd really like to get something similar to the oem connector and change it out.

Yep the only bad thing about mine is I have to cover them but they do make rca caps so if they are un pluged I use those other then that I use electrical grease and that seems to work good

The older I get the harder it is for me to get up into the back of the truck. So, I installed a TraXion Engineered Products tailgate ladder.

Ordered directly from the company on 12/26 recd it on 12/29. $40 shipped. Arkansas to California, quick ship.

Installed pretty easy in 30 minutes. Works well so far.

Good pictures, thanks. I've been wondering about these. I like the bed step, but they are crazy expensive.

I agree, I couldn’t justify the cost of the bed step. But for 40 bucks I thought I would give it a try
