That's why I paid someone to do it. They checked out my front diff too and said it looks good so I'm happy.

your post doesn't quite make sense. did you just let the oil pour all over the skid plate? the rci plate goes well past where the stock plate went.

It will shoot out far enough then just degrease and wash the little mess that it makes afterwards.......when I finished the oil change I then installed the Fumoto valve I've only had skid plate little over a month now

Or you can take it off then purchase the valve which will make it also much easier for next service

How is that fumoto valve looks like?

I would like to get the RCI but that defeats the purpose of not removing the skid plate for every oil change.

Obviously I havnt done oil changes myself but plan to do it in the future since I don’t trust most dealership

totally defeats the purpose. here's the valve

    https://www.amazon.com/F103S-FUMOTO-NIPPLE-M12-1-25-THREADS/dp/B079QFQ5HS
and then there's a hose with a special fitting to fit the stubby nipple on the valve. my hope is that i can just leave the hose in place. i'll secure it to the rear skid bolts

Oh I see so instead of the oil drain plug being in the oil pan you put this in place.

So the window for the RCI only opens for the oil filter and not for the oil plug?

Kinda... You have to do some wigglin' to make it fit (thats what she said)... and 1/2" spacer mod so it sits out far enough that the grill doesn't look like the truck has a weird overbite.

I have the RCI skids, it has the window for easy oil filter access and there is a small relief where the engine oil drain plug is. I have never had an issue removing the drain plug or making a mess. The RCI skid makes oil changes simple for me.

Badtundra. So that’s just a 3rd gen lower section retro fitted ? What did you paint/coat it with ? And it mounts to the frame without much difficulty, I own a body shop so making it fit shouldn’t be hard just curious on the other details
    Thank you sir

Where can one find a 3rd gen bumper for cheap? I'm digging the look but don't want to spend too much money, if it's expensive i might as well get a metal bumper i want.

You will be surprised he got it for cheap. :)

Asked him same question in our conversation. Look for members who upgraded there front bumpers to an off road type of bumpers and negotiate for the price.

Im on the hunt myself lol
