One thing for sure I learned if you want your truck to look this nice and lifted high you sacrifice some comfort.

Im very torn looks or comfort??!! Seems Cant have both worlds.

went out to change the oil for the first time since i added the rci skid plate. was looking forward to not having to drop the skid plate with the filter access door, but what they don't mention on their tundra page is if you don't have a short fumoto valve and special hose, you will have to drop the skid to drain the oil. not happy!! already found out the hard way you have to have special straps to install their fuel skid which was also not mentioned on the fuel tank skid plate when i ordered! skids are nice quality, but after this i most likely won't buy any more from them.

The light trim pieces came in today, ready for the Sequoia lights conversion. Also my bitch pedal came in, my current one is way too sensitive, peeling out looking like a fool every red light. New pedal is supposed to be smoother on the accelerator and not douche mode all the time.

without putting a quick release valve and hose on, yes, if you want to drain the oil without it pouring all over your skid plate and the entire ground under the rig. and it looks like it may have to be a stubby valve or it won't clear the skid plate.

Good eye, i'm not a fan of chrome, so the obvious choice was the black ones. It's been cold here, or else i'd slap these on tomorrow. I'm still waiting for my harness to be made.

I told him i wanted option 2, which is white LEDs on all the time when the truck is running, even with headlights on, and only the amber is lit when i signal. Get yourself a set, these transform the look on the 2nd gen dramatically. 2nd Gen with these lights look better than 3rd gens IMO.

I'm with you. those LEDs look so nice on the gen2. Also after driving my daily commuter with LEDs headlights, I can't stand the halogen types anymore..lol
