Day shot of the finished flexidip. Hope it's okay to leave mud sitting on there for a little bit as it just rained

Thank you. My friend is the GM at the local RAM dealership and sends all of his custom leather work to the same company. Alea Leather is top end quality. I did not install myself. I paid $1,300 for everything including the gray stitching and heated seats. I have never had Katskin but from what I have seen they are both good products.

Got tired of the sensitive gas pedal and installed the 440c Toyota replacement pedal. Wow, what a difference! :bananadance:

I've had my truck for 3 years and have tried my best to adapt to the pedal but it's really break neck when you hit any rough roads. It operates like a normal truck now

Completely agree, over rough roads it gets a little to jumpy.

There is a thread on tundratalk that says it does absolutely nothing and it's all in your head lol. Talks about a shim Toyota installed when they recalled it about the mats causing the pedal to get stuck. I kind of like the sensitivity. I had a 92 4runner that I had to literally stomp on to the floor it sucked lol

My tundra has the plus and minus manual shifting and I usually use that whenever I am on a rough road or wherever I want to keep it in a little more control

The thread I linked showed many guys with the shim "fix" that did nothing for them. The complete pedal replacement did, however. I noticed right away the difference.

Interesting, a few other threads on same topic never mentioned this. Always a tuner to change acceleration curves like Bully Dog. Ended up with a Pedal Commander for our 2007 that slows acceleration when selected. This was $300ish, wish I had known about this option..:(

I filled the voids with egg shell acoustical foam, paying particular attention to the tool & jack compartment. I'll lay matting after it warms up again tomorrow.

I originally wired them up to help loading in the back. Theres enough back there tho to do what I needed so I figured hey, on the cheap extra light pointing out front. Will have to test on the road one of these nights . Luckily, it gets dark at 5 now :O

Very simple. Look at your factory gas pedal and you will see two 10mm nuts and a plug on the top.
